Now, in us all... a trace of fool?

Perhaps the result of hubris,
We have developed a nemesis,
Through no fault,
Of our forefathers,
It was us... we did not,
Do what we ought'a,
Now is not the time to blame,
Our predecessors,
We deserve the fame,
For what's wrong with matters,
And, it's nothing to do,
With cultural diversity,
Or, can't you see?
It's more individual...
It has to do with you.

As European sprung from Anglo-Saxon,
Where did the Anglo-Saxon begin?
You'll need to at least,
Go on back to the Middle East,
And, it will likely take ya,
Through Africa,
Then, if you will,
Go back further still,
You may discover America.

Yes, you'll discover the Injun in ya,
That we're all brothers and sisters,
From the same tribe,
Yes, you'll discover the Injun in ya,
We've the same grandfathers and grandmothers,
We're the same inside,
There is Injun in ya!
And, the medicine man does prescribe:
Tolerance and patience,
For those with a superiority.
For those with an inferiority,
Resistance and persistence,
For there is never an instance,
When we're not in this together.

As we're all mortal,
That means we're in this together... forever --
One tribe worldwide.
