Inspired by 1) today’s War of the Religions of the Book<\/strong> (Judaism, Islamism, Christianity)
\n2) “Onward, Christian Soldiers”, a 19th-century English hymn. Onward, Christian Soldiers<\/em> was written as a processional hymn for children walking from Horbury Bridge to Horbury St Peter’s Church near Wakefield, Yorkshire, at Whitsuntide in 1865. It was originally entitled, “Hymn for Procession with Cross and Banners.”
\n3) Military cadence — a traditional call-and-response work song sung by military personnel while running or marching. In the United States, these cadences are sometimes called jody calls or jodies, after Jody, a recurring character who figures in some traditional cadences.<\/p>\n
