Written and recorded on January 12, 2013 in West Chester, Chester County, Pennsylvania as a digital, 4-track stereo, extemporaneous recording. After posting this status on Facebook, the song was written and recorded on the streets: “Hmmm… 60 degrees in January… perfect day to take music to the streets… maybe write a global warming song?”<\/p>\n

It started while I was sleeping… I heard a news report about severe weather being the new normal. Then, I started hearing a mix of the Stephen Foster song Oh! Susanna<\/em> and the children’s version of Johnny Comes Marching Home<\/em> known as The Ants Go Marching<\/em> (and a dash if You Are My Sunshine<\/em>)… kind-of tossing traditional irony with a modern day twist.<\/p>\n
