Deforestation also disrupts ecosystems, diminishes biodiversity, and contributes to habitat loss and species extinction.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Overconsumption and Waste<\/strong>: Excessive consumption of resources, including energy, water, and materials, contributes to environmental degradation and greenhouse gas emissions. This denial and reluctance to take decisive action delay efforts to reduce emissions, adapt to climate impacts, and transition to a sustainable future.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Overall, human activities drive climate change through greenhouse gas emissions, deforestation, overconsumption, industrial agriculture, inefficiencies in energy use, lack of sustainable practices, and denial or inaction.
