The data collected is crucial for comprehending space weather phenomena that can impact Earth&#8217;s technology and astronauts in space.<\/p>\n<p>Equipped with a robust heat shield, the probe is designed to withstand extreme temperatures exceeding 2,500 degrees Fahrenheit (about 1,377 degrees Celsius) as it ventures through the Sun&#8217;s outer atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p>This recent close approach is part of a series of planned perihelia, with the probe scheduled to continue its mission, including two more close flybys next year.
