This song was inspired by a woman holding a sign in downtown West Chester. One side of the sign said, “Sin is death. Christ is life. Romans 6:23”<\/p>\n

However, her quote is taken out of context. The Bible actually reads:<\/p>\n

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

On the other side of the sign, it read “Fear God”.<\/p>\n
