About the Song
\nUK Climate Security: From Suppression to the Domino Effect<\/p>\n

Climate change is increasingly moving from the category of environmental problem into the category of systemic risk.<\/p>\n

A recently reported UK national-security assessment warned that climate and ecological disruption can cascade across borders\u2014affecting food security, economies, migration, and political stability.<\/p>\n

The problem is not simply the initial climate shock.<\/p>\n

It is what happens afterward:<\/p>\n

Climate shock \u2192 food disruption \u2192 economic shock \u2192 migration \u2192 political instability \u2192 conflict \u2192 reduced adaptive capacity<\/p>\n
