{"id":93,"date":"2009-06-06T17:50:37","date_gmt":"2009-06-06T17:50:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/buylow.com\/songs\/chains-of-events\/"},"modified":"2009-06-06T17:50:37","modified_gmt":"2009-06-06T17:50:37","slug":"chains-of-events","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/kingarthur.com\/songwriter\/2009\/06\/06\/chains-of-events\/","title":{"rendered":"Chains Of Events"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Will I be an event,<br \/>\nIn this chain reaction?<br \/>\nCan I prevent,<br \/>\nThe preceding event?<\/p>\n<p>The Earth did quake,<br \/>\nCausing man to shake,<br \/>\n&#8230; in his boots,<br \/>\nThe sea did wake,<br \/>\nAre they in cahoots?<\/p>\n<p>In these chains of events,<br \/>\nWill there be a change of servants?<br \/>\nDoes chaos theory suggest,<br \/>\nThe rest?<br \/>\nThough it sounds strange,<br \/>\nWill we rearrange,<br \/>\nFirst and last?<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s hard for my pea brain,<br \/>\nTo grasp,<br \/>\nI feel lame,<br \/>\nTrying to tame,<br \/>\nThe chain of events,<br \/>\nIn the past,<br \/>\nAnd, the present.<br \/>\nWill the future,<br \/>\nHold my last attempt,<br \/>\nTo prevent,<br \/>\nMy final event?<\/p>\n<p>In the row,<br \/>\nWhat domino,<br \/>\nAm I?<br \/>\nDo you know,<br \/>\nWhen I&#8217;ll fall?<br \/>\nIs it an outcome,<br \/>\nWe can call?<br \/>\nI don&#8217;t want to say,<br \/>\n&#8220;There&#8217;s more I could&#8217;ve done!&#8221;<br \/>\nWill I figure a way,<br \/>\nTo know the answer why?<br \/>\nAnd, stop the next fellow,<br \/>\nFrom falling over,<br \/>\nOr, at least discover,<br \/>\nA way to slow,<br \/>\nThe approach?<\/p>\n<p>I understand,<br \/>\nThe ocean does encroach,<br \/>\nThe land,<br \/>\nIn this last chain of events,<br \/>\nBut, what prevents,<br \/>\nThis chain from going on&#8230; and on and on and on and on&#8230; so long?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Will I be an event, In this chain reaction?
