A SCIENCE NOTE
\nThe phrase “undecided underside of earth” refers to the belief that the Earth is flat, and raises a question about what would be on the other side of the disk . From a scientific perspective, the Earth is a sphere, so there is no “underside.” What lies beneath the surface is the Earth’s internal structure.<\/p>\n
