ABOUT THE SONG
\nThe origins of Halloween, which began with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain around 2,000 years ago, a time when Celts wore disguises and masks to ward off spirits believed to roam the Earth during the thinning of the veil between worlds. This pagan holiday marked the end of summer and the harvest, and the transition into winter, with bonfires, costumes and masks playing a significant role in the traditions to confuse and deter evil spirits.<\/p>\n
