Sentences of Scripture Pastor Kris
Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
Psalm 124: 8
When we were baptized in Christ Jesus, we were baptized into his death. We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, so that, as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might live a new life. For if we have been united with Christ in a death like his, we will certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his. Romans 6: 3-5
I am the resurrection and the life, says the Lord. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. John 11: 25-26
Prayer
O God, who gave us birth, you are ever more ready to hear than we are to pray. You know our needs before we ask. Show us now your grace, that as we face the mystery of death we may see the light of eternity. Help us to live as those who are prepared to die. And when our days here are ended, enable us to die as those who go forth to live, so that living or dying, our life may be in Jesus Christ our risen Lord. Amen.

Receive Christina into the arms of your mercy, into the blessed rest of everlasting peace, and into the glorious company of the saints in light. Amen.
