A little holiday ditty for Christians that forget they are also Jews… and therefore, Muslims that forget that they are Christians that are Jews. A holiday song for religions of The Book… Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and As-salamu.
LYRICS
The funny thing
He never called himself king
The Prince Of Peace
To say the least
I’m going to Bethlehem
I am
I’m going to Bethlehem
To behold him
Hey, hey, hey, ya!
In Judea
Joseph went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee
So, the angels could sing and dance merrily
Suddenly a great company of the heavenly
Appearing with the angels, praising God and singing,
Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth may peace never cease
LYRICS
It’s the Grand Celebration
A celebration right at hand
It’s the Grand Celebration
Celebration for the benefit of Man
(hand in hand man hand-in-hand)
A benefit to rid the hypocrites
Loosen up… raise your cup!
A benefit where all can profit
Loosen up… raise your cup!
A benefit for humans to commit
Loosen up… raise your cup!
LYRICS
If the thing you like the most about this time of year
Are how tipsy people get after a dose of Christmas cheer
Here, hear, hear!
Punch drunk (I thunk punch drunk I thunk…)
Hit in the head with thoughts of love
Punch drunk (I thunk punch drunk I thunk…)
Hit in the heart with the light from above
Oh ya know I hate the debate of Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays
Religion is blind when it comes to being kind and how it saves in so many ways
Rays, rays, raise!
Get knocked out of the place where there’s any space in the race for hate
Even Scrooge shed the stooge when he saw his fate… it’s not too late
Unburden the weight
Please don’t wait
LYRICS
Ole man winter is at it again
Chillin’ my bones deep within
From the tips of my toes
Right up to my chin
Ole man winter is at it again
Keepin’ up with the Jones
Get the shopping woes
A fight you can not win
Ole man winter is here once again
Put up the tree get out the trim
Ole man winter brings on lovin’
As we sing a carol and hum a hymn
It warms the chill within
LYRICS
The good Samaritan
Thinking he’s humane
But doesn’t grasp the stakes
And how utterly inane
Repeating the same mistakes
Again and again and again
The good Samaritan
Thinking he’s humane
Not considering consequences
Or how ultimately lame
Try on the circumstances
Applied to 1… 5… or 10
Then you’ll know when
After a mile in his shoes walked
Let your talk be talked
Until that time, please refrain
‘less your good deed be deemed inhumane
The King James Version of the Bible translates the words of the angels differently from modern versions, using the words “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men” (where the word “men” is used generically to mean “people” or “human beings”). Most Christmas carols reflect this older translation, with It Came Upon the Midnight Clear, for example, using the words “Peace on the earth, good will to men, / From Heaven’s all gracious King.”

Diwali also known as Deepavali and the “festival of lights”, is an ancient Hindu festival celebrated in autumn every year. The festival spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and hope over despair. The festival preparations and rituals typically extend over a five day period, but the main festival night of Diwali coincides with the darkest, new moon night of the Hindu Lunisolar month Kartika. In the Gregorian calendar, Diwali night falls between mid-October and mid-November.

Based on this news story:
A paralyzed man has been able to walk again after a pioneering therapy that involved transplanting cells from his nasal cavity into his spinal cord.
Prof Geoff Raisman, chair of neural regeneration at University College London’s Institute of Neurology, led the UK research team.
He said what had been achieved was “more impressive than man walking on the moon”.
A key difference with Mr Fidyka was that the scientists were able use the patient’s olfactory bulb, which is the richest source of olfactory ensheathing cells.
The complex neural circuitry responsible for our sense of smell is the only part of the nervous system that regenerates throughout adult life.
It is this ability that scientists have tried to exploit in stimulating repair in the spinal cord.
Every time we breathe, molecules carrying different odours in the air come into contact with nerve cells in the nose.
These transmit messages to our olfactory bulbs – at the very top of the nasal cavity, sitting at the base of the brain.
The nerve cells are being continually damaged and must be replaced.
This process of regeneration is made possible by olfactory ensheathing cells (OECs), which provide a pathway for the fibres to grow back.
Scientists believe this is evidence that the recovery is due to regeneration….
