LYRICS
We’re living here in liberty
I once was blind
But, now I see

Living here
The home of the free
The land of the brave
Why can’t we behave?

I once was blind
But, now I see
We’re living here
In liberty
The light shines down
On all of us
All across the U.S.
We just need
To learn to share
And, be aware of everywhere

Now, these inalienable rights
Is that to help the plight and flight of the blight
Then, try as we may and try as we might
We can’t redefine what is right
To try and rule with an iron fist
Just gets all the other nations pissed

I once was blind
But, now I see
We’re living here
In liberty
I once was blind
But, now I see
Equality for you and me

I once was blind
But, now I see
That everyone
Can be free

B / Cm Dim / Bm

Peering at my peers
I see their fears
Of being different
Making them intolerant
Of those that are

Peering at my peers
I see their fears
Of being slightly odd
Making them rob
The innocence
Of those that are

Peering at my peers
I see their fears
Of being somewhat strange
Making them re-arrange
Their arrogance
A bit too far

There go
Id and ego
Rampaging
Super ego
Locked up tight
Trample my right
To be free
To be me

What a pity
Their conformity
What a shame
To ruin the game

Hey, robot!
Why not
Get loose
And, lighten up
Over the hump
You choose
Your cage
You choose
Your age

Do As I Am Told MP3

Your eyes
Are so steely cold
You think
I should do as told
As long
As you are talking
So long
’cause I am walking

You get
What you deserve
Your soul
Will not preserve

You’re mad
Angry and mean
You’re mad
A nightmarish dream
You’re mad
Insane
You don’t know
What you mean
No know
Do you know
You’re that mean?
