LYRICS
Rock ‘n’ Roll stars
Shame it couldn’t last
Rock ‘n’ Roll stars
Relegated to the past

So you wanna be a Rock ‘n’ Roll star
Grab your guitar… come as you are
With a passion to play all day
We’ll redefine how the stars shine

Better fadin’way
Than to burnin’ out today
Stars of modern day
Glowing light years away

Make ’em dance
And make ’em sing
Tak a chance
See what music will bring

LYRICS
We’re changing the forecast
This overcast can’t last
The drizzle will fizzle
’till the sun shines fine

It can’t stay gray
All through the day… no way
We’re in need of daylight
Before the fall of night

Dream of a golden ray
Shinning this way… it may
Our dreams can come true
It’s all up to me… and you

Fall off the horse… get back on and ride
It’s our will that’ll turn the tide

LYRICS
It’s been a long, long time
Since I laid my eyes upon her
Wonder if she’ll ponder
“Can I make him mine?”

Chorus
Back when going steady was all the craze
ID bracelets… then class rings… what’s the next phase
“Love Hurts” and Heart on the radio plays
[Barracuda guitar riff]
Baby, those were the days

It’s been a long, long while
Since graced with your smile
Still gal with lady style
The more the change, the more the same… no denial

Chorus

You’re lookin’ oh so fine
Sure aged well in time
Beggin’ for a sign
Will you please be mine?

Chorus

LYRICS
Heard people say you can never go home again
But when I get there they say, “Where’ve ya been?”
Burning bridges mend
Comin’ round the bend
Finding a long lost friend

No surprise when ya look in their eyes
A familiar face… you realize
Burning bridges mend
Comin’ round the bend
Finding a long lost friend

There’s nothing like finding a long lost friend
Except for finding a long lost friend
Burning bridges mend
Comin’ round the bend
Finding a long lost friend

Sorry to say some have passed away
But it’s OK… we’ll meet again some day
Burning bridges mend
Comin’ round the bend
Finding a long lost friend

Do the lights turn red?

ABOUT THE SONG

Written and recorded in Clearfield, Pennsylvania.

A live 1-track stereo recording made on a park bench in downtown Clearfield.

Chinklacamoose, spelled many ways, was an old Native American village located at what is now Clearfield, Pennsylvania. The village existed from the early 1st century up until around the mid to late 17th century. The village was about halfway along the Great Shamokin Path, which started at the old Indian village of Shamokin (present day Sunbury), along the West Branch of the Susquehanna River west to its ending point at the village of Kittanning.

Chinklacamoose kept its name up until 1804, when it became the first township for Clearfield County. Only three years later, the township began to split up into smaller townships, like Beccaria, Bradford, Lawrence and Pike by 1813, when Chinklacamoose Township no longer existed and the name was lost to history.

LYRICS
Keeping the scenic scene free from obscene
Know what I mean? By no means mean

No sign of signs
Pollution desolation
Lover of love
Negator of the hater

Caretaker curator for the Maker
A race leaving no trace in our space

No sign of signs
Pollution desolation
Lover of love
Negator of the hater

Stave being slave. Wave on the wave
No gaudy God… Lord we applaud

Nature-All-ly Songwriting at Lake Wynonah

No sign of signs
Pollution desolation
Void of hemorrhoid
Past pain-in-the-ass

Then we’ll surely endure
Once we abhor being whores
An endeavour to adore
Knocking on heaven’s door

Can’t be won

Do you throw a fit

If you’re not a cost

Cry n’ wine
All the time
Nothing’s fine
Me, my, mine

Maybe it’s time for a little spark

Sorry doesn’t make-up for a sin
Especially when you do it again and again

When you get a chance, you’ll send it my way
Then when you pray you forget to say
“Lord, how may I serve you?”

LYRICS
Have you ventured too far
“Who do you think you are?”

Lady? Bug! Lady? Bug!
Fly away home
Lady? Bug! Lady? Bug!
Leave them alone

Will you push them too far
Forcing them to fly
Will you push them too far
’till they say bye-bye

Chorus

Now you’ll take your own test
In your empty-nest-ness
Baby’s grown and flown
Now you’re on your own

When raping your Mother Earth
Destroys your own birth
Then treating the guests
Like you’re above the rest

May you rest in peace
Rest in peace
(To say the least)

Animosity cease
Unconditional release
Realize
Pennies on your eyes

May you rest in peace
Rest in peace

Ashes to ashes
Dust to dust
The result of uncontrollable lust

May you rest in peace
Rest in peace

For sure fracture
The ill of the drill
Mine and mine… “it’s all mine”
Until there is no more

May you rest in peace

Please tell me once more
’cause I don’t understand
Demand, demand, demand

If you command demand

As a benefit to me
Isn’t working out logically
Hand in hand. Hand in hand.
