LYRICS
In these days, we’re all chasing rays (we’re all chasing rays)
In the fray of the day, we’re chasing rays
Searching high and low
Where did the day light go
There should have daylight savings
But, we kept shaving and shaving and shaving
Until there was barely splintered sunlight left
It’s not alright when there’s nothing left
It there’s a shadow in the way
There’s a way to flesh out a ray
What do you say
Let’s step out into the light
Alight? Alright!
In these days, we’re all chasing rays (we’re all chasing rays)
In the fray of the day, we’re chasing rays
ABOUT THE SONG
A / D / A
Bm7 / G / E
Written and recorded on November 9, 2012 in Chester County, PA. It was the first sunny day and warm enough to play guitar outside in a long time. It was also the first nice day since the start of daylight savings. So… I wanted to catch the last rays as the sun started to set. Lack of sunlight tends do cause depression; therefore, I suggest you try catching rays.

Written and recorded on November 9, 2012 in Chester County, PA. Since Hurricane Sandy, it was the first sunny day that it was warm enough to play guitar outside. So, I wanted every one to come enjoy the day light.
Using limb to clobber him from limb to limb
Crushing homes and transportation
Because of our past deviation violation
The fall of the trees
Due to the human disease
The revenge of the woods
Due to too many would-of’s, could-of’s and shoulds
Due to too many wood-of shoulds
Written and recorded on October 31, 2012 in West Chester, PA during the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. Many scientists believe humans have caused severe volatility to the weather systems. Quite a few scientist also believe humans are causing deforestation. Now, are we getting what we deserve?
You know it must be going over and over in her head
If she ever comes to realize… what she did
Then, you know it’s gotta be going over and over and over
In her head
Must be hard to live with yourself
Over and over in head… over and over and over again
As long as you’re living a life of sin
Over and over again
When you’re livin’ a life of sin… livin’ a life of sin… livin’ a life of sin
It was so out-of-this-world
That it couldn’t have bee real
I mean… what’s your deal
Over and over and over and over again
Gotta re-live that sin
Until you was it clean
Until you’re void of mean
Over and over and over and over and over and over again
Over and over in your head
For all eternity… long after you’re dead
Do you at least regret what you said?
Until you do you do
Likely, be living it over and over and over again
Gotta rid that sin
Must be hard to live with yourself
Over and over in head… over and over and over again
As long as you’re living a life of sin
ABOUT THE SONG
Em / G / Am
Written and recorded Halloween, October 31, 2012. Halloween is suppose to be a day in which the spirit world and the human world co-mingle. What if your evil spirit was in your head every day? You have got to get rid of it… do you know the way? Then, you’ll be living in blessed bliss.
Daniel — Keyboards, Vocals, Producer
The song was written and recorded on-the-fly in an impromptu, extemporaneous style.

Shark Swimming in the Streets of Margate, NJ During Hurricane Sandy
LYRICS
The wind does howl
To the pour of rain’s growl
Poor, poor, poor visibility (Can’t you see, you can’t see?)
Ohhhh… I thought the day I’d never see
Full moon. High tide.
You’ve got no place left to hide
“Cryin’ won’t help you, prayin’ won’t do you no good”
You should’ve run, should’ve run just as fast as you could
Full moon. High tide.
Worst time to make landfall
Full moon. High tide.
It’s a wonder if there’s anything left at all
ABOUT THE SONG Music by Eric, Carpenter John and Daniel; written and recorded as an impromptu blues jam as we waited for the Hurricane to arrive; Norristown, PA on October 28, 2012. Lyrics by Daniel; written and recorded inside the truck as Hurricane Sandy was making landfall; West Chester, PA on October 29, 2012.

Shark Swimming in the Streets of Margate, NJ During Hurricane Sandy
The science of a high tide, full moon and landfall of a hurricane —
Higher-than-normal tides — tied to a full moon — have added to Hurricane Sandy’s coastal flooding threat.
As you might expect the explanation is a matter of simple astronomy, not any kind of lunacy associated in folklore with a full moon.
“It’s not the moon’s phase that matters, but the position,” says astronomer Phil Plait on his Bad Astronomy website.
During a full moon, the moon is essentially lined up on the opposite side of the Earth from the sun (this is what allows the near surface of the moon to be illuminated in its full splendor) and the gravitational tug of war between those two intensifies at this time, resulting in higher tides.
This kind of alignment of astronomical objects is called a syzygy (SIH-zhih-jhee) and sailors have understood the effect for centuries. So, for Hurricane Sandy, the higher-than-normal tides that threaten to add to an 11-foot storm surge feared for lower Manhattan are simply a matter of bad timing. — USA Today
LYRICS
Money
Like flies to honey
It’s the disease bringing people to their knees
It’s the disease bringing people to their knees
I say, “God!” as I fall to my knees, “give me some, please!”
(more money please)
While busker says the word
A gift from a lord
Brings back faith in prosperity
Money
Like flies to honey
It’s the disease bringing people to their knees
It’s the disease crippling people such as these
While the busker plays the chord
A flowerchild pulls her sword,
Blows bubbles… restores faith in humanity
Written and recorded on October 17, 2012 in West Chester, Pennsylvania. I had been playing the guitar part and just started writing the lyrics when a kind gentleman came over and gave me money. Then, a hippie-chick surprised me with a shower of bubbles. What a day to be thankful.
LYRICS
“Meet the new boss… same as the old boss”
Don’t leave your fate to destiny
Influence the coin toss
Don’t live you life in misery
Go for the gain. Avoid the loss.
Not just for you
But, for those beyond your point-of-view
“Meet the new boss… same as the old boss”
Elevate your fate
And balance the scales
Calming the irate
Putting wind in your sails
Not just for you
But, for those beyond your point-of-view
Written and recorded October 8, 2012 in West Chester, Pennsylvania. It starts with a line from The Who’s Won’t Get Fooled Again as it fit in so well with the title of the album The New Old. Don’t be fooled. You have free will. Please choose your destiny while considering the impact on everyone… even those beyond your point-of-view — “the who”.
LYRICS
When we started to count, we went from 0 to 1
By the way, this was way, way back in the day
Then in the modern day, we found a way
To make music play
Putting bits and bytes to websites
In binary… in fact, back to the very…
0’s and 1’s
Come in from the cold
It’s the new old
Just when you thought out was sold
Come in for some new old
[I can’t get no satisfaction. She’s a daytripper, yeah!]
Can you see
Paper comes from a tree
Moses’ new commandments were carved in some very old stone
Our new condiments were made from mature… more than an instance
Even the telephone, TV and computer come from regurgitated ideas
So, before making a stance…
On creativity…
Before raising fears
Let’s see how much original
Is left in us all
Besides, a zero isn’t much of anything
Let’s try something new… invigorating
Written and recorded on October 7, 2012 in West Chester, PA and is the theme song for the album. It is pretty much a given that we are impacted by the events that have come before us. Instead of trying to avoid it… why not celebrate it?
Written and recorded in Paoli, PA and West Chester, PA on October 6, 2012. I stared thinking about the term BluesFest. It kind-of felt like an oxymoron. Ya, know… “Festival Of Sadness”. So, it’s a tongue-in-cheek song about music moving people. Whatever music moves you, may you be moved. In fact, when it’s all said and done… I hope you are grooved from the experience.
LYRICS
If you’re gonna pray, you might as well say
“I pray that I get it right!”
If you’re gonna say you might as well pray
“I pray that I get this right!”
Better pray, better pray all through the night
Better pray, better pray all through the day
Better pray as I work at working it into my work
Better pray as I work at working at what I play
ABOUT THE SONG
Written and recorded on August 29, 2012 at the corner of Church and Market Streets, West Chester, Pennsylvania.
When I started writing the song, I thought it was going to be impossible to produce an upbeat song with these chords. So, the idea for the song is the title. Where there is a will, there is a way!
Written and recorded August 25, 2012 in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
It’s about love reciprocity. The album name “Natural Producer” has to do with the engineering and production of the music. Since the music is hoped to be *God Inspired*, names like deity, spirit, divinity, supernatural being and idol producer came to mind; however, that sounded too vain. So, what am I compared to the Supernatural Being Producer?
