LYRICS
What is your sign
What is mine
Peace sign, thumbs-up and smile for a while
(Yes, signs of happiness)

Universally fine
Always a sweet treat
Ripe on the vine
Most precious is time

What is your sign
What is mine
Singing and dancing
Sharing the wine
(Spank it! Crank it!)

A song about a lady giving me the thumbs-up and a big smile while I was writing a song about adding the 13th zodiac sign “Ophiuchus”.

According to NASA, the Earth’s axis has changed over the 3,000 years since the zodiac was invented. As a result, the constellations over which the sun appears to move over have shifted.

NASA stated, “But even according to the Babylonians’ own ancient stories, there were 13 constellations in the zodiac.”

The 13th constellation is Ophiuchus.

Ophiuchus (⛎) (/ɒfiˈjuːkəs/) has sometimes been used in sidereal astrology as a thirteenth sign in addition to the twelve signs of the tropical Zodiac, because the eponymous constellation Ophiuchus (Greek: Ὀφιοῦχος “Serpent-bearer”) as defined by the 1930 IAU constellation boundaries is situated behind the sun from November 30 to December 18. — Wikipedia

LYRICS
First ya think it’ll never
Then it comes together
Determination for soul-ution
First ya think it’ll never
Then it comes together
Eradication of pollution

What the heck
Better hit the deck
It’s a war zone
911 on the phone
Still, he won’t leave me alone
The lights are on but no one’ home

Thorn in lion’s paw
Mouse takes out in awe
Determination of solution
First ya think it’ll never
Then it comes together
Determination for soul-ution

Just as well
Damned to hell
Now the scene
We shall clean
Sooner or later everything passes
Even for the biggest asses

Looked below… looked above
You know when you look low
Sigh… when you look high

The fallacy of their bureaucracy
Is embedded in their head
The fallacy of their bureaucracy
Is headed where we dread
In fact, it’s quite frightening
Getting struck twice by lightning

The fallacy of their bureaucracy
Reigns the arts are dead
In fact, it’s quite frightening
Getting struck twice by lightning

The fallacy of their bureaucracy

Deserved space?

LYRICS
The secret
Is their dirty habit —
They’ll never admit
They did it

As I watch their eye
Watching me…
It’s pretty darn easy
For you to see

Their bond of conspiracy
Is troubling… deeply
An eye for an eye
Or lie upon lie

Their command of literacy
Is lacking… completely
Unless their heresy
Is based on hypocrisy

Hitting the street
We’re in for a real treat

To the soul’s satisfaction

The people fade
Into a parade
The crowd sings out loud
With loving affection
To the soul’s satisfaction

A two-year-old
Gives his two cents
Showin’ the old
How to be gents
Fan appreciation
To the soul’s satisfaction

This is a song about the music lovers in West Chester. While I was writing a song about appreciating the fans, a two-year-old walked over to me. He reached into his pocket and gave me two shiny pennies. Later in the day, a lady came up to me and said, “You are a staple of the community. I love driving into my town and hearing you.”

Thank you!

LYRICS
Set yourself free
Let me be

A jerk of the knee
Reaction
Brought out the ugly
Complexion
Set yourself free
Let me be

Wanna tick of maybe a flea
Something you can’t shake easily
Set yourself free
Let me be

You got the stain on the brain
You couldn’t refrain
Sucking/flushing down the drain
Set yourself free
Let me be

Gag reflex inflects
Expulsion of regrets
Still, inflect
Less ill will
Set yourself free
Let me be

Hard to know
Friend or foe?

That’s the way things can go
If we don’t say “No!”
Friend or foe?

Who would of guessed the law ‘ld lie
Promise, cross my heart… hope to die
Friend or foe?
Hard to know

How did all the cops become criminals
On the evolutionary scale barely animals
Friend or foe?
Hard to know

Take advantage of the disadvantaged
The whole world should be outraged

Better watch out or they’re gonna get you
If you let your guard down
There’s not much you can do
When the mayor wears a golden crown

Everything smashes to ashes
And we all fall down
Our sacred Constitution
Usurped by The Institution

A song written at the Mayor’s mansion
That was born on the back of others’ misfortune
The stink of hate ain’t up for debate
Elite feast on their despise of the least

“It broke. It would not bend.”
Now, humanity can not mend
Because your message was “The End”

ABOUT THE SONG

Inspired by Mayor Carolyn Comitta and events at the corner of Gay and Church Streets. Recorded at the Mayor’s mansion in West Chester, PA.

WEST CHESTER, PA — The West Chester Police department continues to be tangled in an ever-growing web of police misconduct and illegal activities. Now, Police Chief Scott Bohn and Mayor Carolyn Comitta are being called into question.

Starting in April, multiple police officers have been implicated in retaliation, witness intimidation, obstruction of justice, lying under oath, falsifying police reports, conspiracy to commit a crime, interfering with an internal affairs investigation, police misconduct, terroristic threats, harassment, civil rights violations and hate crimes.

The line “Our sacred constitution
Usurped by The Institution” was inspired by a long time West Chester resident that heard about The Busking Ordinance. Thomas said, “That’s against the Constitution!”

LYRICS
If this is the last time
I’m gonna have a good time
I was told when I grow old
I’m gonna leave behind my body and mind
A collision course
With mass extinction
Of course

Not gonna hide for the final ride
Take my inside outside
And spread it wide
I’m gonna spread the word that man’s absurd
Climb to the highest rung
Sung from the top of my lungs
“Oh, man. Oh, my, my, Lord”

’til they drop the curtain for our last bow
I’m gonna make certain there’s not somehow
To save some space for the human race
And ya know… enjoy the thrill of the show

The child fighter makes for a real nail-biter

Do you know there’s no more encore?

What? There’s no encore? I paid good money for this ticket!
