bookmark_borderRight at Us

LYRICS
It’s coming right at us
I can see it coming
Too late to cry
Too late to fuss
Better off running
Look to the sky
Even the birds can’t fly
… can’t find their way home
What once was dry
Kiss it good-bye
Bye-bye
… be gone in the foam
(Can’t find my way home)

The eye of the storm
Looking us in the I’s
Today’s new norm
In yesterday lies
Look to the sky
Even the birds can’t fly
… can’t find their way home
What once was dry
Kiss it good-bye
Bye-bye
… be gone in the foam
(Can’t find my way home)

I said it was coming
Now that it’s here
Thunder and lightning
Clear it gets frightening
Look to the sky
Even the birds can’t fly
… can’t find their way home
What once was dry
Kiss it good-bye
Bye-bye
… be gone in the foam
(Can’t find my way home)

A song about The Human Induced Climate Change Experiment

LYRICS
You’re the wet dreams
Happening in my genes
In a turning of the tide
Saw the sky open wide
Water, well…
It’s hard to tell
If it’ll be
How it’s ever been
… again

While in route caught a drought
About to find out… about
Water, well…
It’s hard to tell
If it’ll ever be
How it’s been … again
It’s hard to tell
If we’ll ever see
If we’ll ever be
Where we’ve been… again

LYRICS
Is it a stretch
That we will fetch
Adaptation
Did you hear the starting gun sound
Why are we sticking around
The race is on
We don’t have long
For our way to be found
Been forty days and forty nights
We still don’t see the light
It’s been four score
And maybe more
Yet, humans delight in fight

What was unfair
Time that we square
Angulation
Did you hear the starting gun sound
Why are we sticking around
The race is on
We don’t have long
For our way to be found
Been forty days and forty nights
We still don’t see the light
It’s been four score
And maybe more
Yet, humans delight in fight

Let’s stop the bleed
We will succeed
Aspiration
Adaptation
Acclamation
Acclimation
Did you hear the starting gun sound
Why are we sticking around
The race is on
We don’t have long
For our way to be found
Been forty days and forty nights
We still don’t see the light
It’s been four score
And maybe more
Yet, humans delight in fight

Global warming has caused irreparable damage to our environment. Almost all scientist agree that IN FACT global warming is a problem.
Humans have caused the destruction of the Earth’s environment. Our planet has become unfit for human life. Now the question is can we adapt in time?

LYRICS
Now that the low hanging fruit is gone
What did you say is number two?
How long to keep hanging on
In the faith
Of what you do
Tell me true
On the other side
Of the wishing well
Past due
Gone worldwide
Our time did tell
Passed do

Now that your slumber is over
Is it time to discover
How much time will it take to wake
To come to?
Tell me true
On the other side
Of the wishing well
Past due
Gone worldwide
Our time did tell
Passed do

LYRICS
Please don’t think it’s a bore
But, I can’t sit here
No more
We’ve been here before
We can’t take any more
What’s ahead is crystal clear
No “more”
Did you hear? Crystal clear
What’s in store? No more more

Please don’t think I know the cure
But, to stop… why not?
Or be forgot
No more
We’ve been here before
We can’t take any more
What’s ahead is crystal clear
No “more”
Did you hear? Crystal clear
What’s in store? No more more
Or no more more

Please rethink your curvature
How much longer we’ll endure
No more
We’ve been here before
We can’t take any more
What’s ahead is crystal clear
No “more”
Did you hear? Crystal clear
What’s in store? No more more

The arc of the dive
To stay alive

LYRICS
What once was blue
Has turned to grey
Another storm is on the way
Goes dry for days
No end in view
Then a deluge falls on you
Makes no sense to runaway
Try n’ deal a different day
Anyway
Sooner or later catches up to your
There’s not much you can do
Cry or pray

What once was grey
Has turned to black
Looks like the sky is going to attack
Been dry for weeks
No doubt a drought
Now the roads have cr3eks
Makes no sense to runaway
Try n’ deal a different day
Anyway
Sooner or later catches up to you
There’s not much you can do
Cry or pray

LYRICS
Half-way out the window
Should I stay
Or should I go
How will I know
What’s best for the rest
The rest of humanity
The rest with sanity
The rest with heart
Where should I start?

One foot is out the door
Stay for more
Or should I go
How will I know
What’s best for the rest
The rest of humanity
The rest with sanity
The rest with heart
Where should I start?

I am of half the mind
to unwind
Or should I grow
How will I know
What’s best for the rest
The rest of humanity
The rest with sanity
The rest with heart
Where should I start

LYRICS
You have a clue just what to do
Now that we’re running out of steam?
Do you know what I mean
Was life just but a dream?
So-ing up the seem
Sowing up the seam
So it seems

You have a clue just what to do
Now that we’re coming to the close
What is it do you suppose
… we’re our worst foes?
So-ing up the seem
Sowing up the seam
So it seems

You have a clue just what to do
Now that we’re hanging by a thread
Did you hear what I said
Or prefer being dead?
So-ing up the seem
Sowing up the seam
So it seems

LYRICS
Too far to the left
Too far to the right
The dangers of politics
Since intellect left
Goin’ to rule with might
The dangers of politics
Chorus:
We the people
Know that all life’s equal
It’s up to us to shine the light
All our nation
In the same situation
Add our candlepower brighten the light

2. Too far to the right
Too far to the left
The dangers of politics
Since neither’s right
It’s time I left
The dangers of politics

3. So far I suggest
How far to cast the light
The strangers of politics
Sow more for the rest
Bring all to insight
Be strangers of politics

Don’t want to think about it
Can’t bear to think about it
Don’t want to think about it now
You don’t need to fuss and scream and shout
I’ve got myself to worry about
Don’t really care if the world is failing
As long as I’ve got smooth sailing
Since I’m not the on crying and hurting
Why would I care if the curtain’s falling?

Don’t want to talk about it

LYRICS
The wind’s all messed up
Have we blown it now?
We’ve put the holey in cow
Butt, your mind’s made up
To your error won’t bow
Oh please don’t have a cow
Look what we’re left with now
Gotta make it through somehow

Temperature’s going up
Did we cook our goose
Tie the hangman’s noose
Butt, your mind’s made up
Though in error you choose
Tighten up the noose
Look what we’re left with now
Gotta make it through somehow

See sea risin’ up
Do you swim real strong
Can you do it for long
Butt, your mind’s made up
Do you care if you’re wrong
Playing your swan song
Look what we’re left with now
Gotta make it through somehow

How to freeze some old ice?
How to pick fossils
Out of thin air
Bury them back under earth
Somewhere?

Freeze permafrost
With methane un-lost
Bring the coral reef
Permanent relief
How to pick fossils

How to pick fossils

bookmark_borderAbout the Reign

I asked Sidd:
Is there a limiting factor to the size of raindrops… that will prevent them from becoming lethal?
“Availability of water vapor and intensity of updrafts within a cloud determine the size of a raindrop. Larger drops tend to result from the vigorous updrafts within a thunderstorm and fall faster than smaller drops.”
Sidd replied:
dunno,
but if it freezes, yes, it can kill you.
i imagine around a centimeter is about as big as raindrops can get …
would break up bigger than that for sure. i imagine there are studies somewhere
… never heard of raindrops killing anyone, but hail, yes.

LYRICS
About the reign of rain
We can train to sustain
Remain
As for the strain of rain
Use our brain to maintain
Remain
But you know
When the temperature’s low
The laws of physics please
Use to flow
Now won’t go
Sure did turn solid
Cause you know
When the temperature’s low
Liquid tends to freeze
What a shock
Feels like a rock
Sure did turn solid
Hell, the rain won’t kill
But, the hail will

2. Though rain’s reign goes on
You know it won’t last long
Till hail raises hell
How much longer is hard to tell
(chorus)

LYRICS
Particle derived raindrops arise
The mass amassed depends on size
Caught in the updraft
Cycle round
Before coming down
In a wrath

Evaporate
At an ever increasing rate
Participate
A pounding precipitate
Caught in the updraft
Cycle round
Before coming down
In a wrath

What goes up must come down
Bob and weave… avoid the crown
Caught in the updraft
Cycle round
Before coming down
In a wrath

The moral of the story
Don’t belittle
The vision and the glory
Of Chicken Little
Caught in the updraft
Cycle round
Before coming down
In a wrath
