LYRICS
I see we’ve crossed the fine line
From shadows into the shine
As we’re listening
We’re glistening
Now to take in some sun
Out in the broad daylight
And soon… into the night
By the light of the moon

LYRICS
Look at me now!
Look, Ma! No hands
Look at me now!
Can you hold my beer
Is there method to the madness
For I confess to knowing less

Look at me now!
Look, Ma! No hands
No “understands”
No one understand
Look at me now!
Can you hold my beer
Nevertheless
Is there method to the madness

Or the broad scope of bitter taste?

LYRICS
Running late
Are we running too late
At any rate
If we’re running late
Why do we wait?
If we’re running late
Why do we wait?
The gears of time are cranking
To gods of youth no thanking
No time to ask why
We’re letting time pass by
Enough smelling the roses
And pausing for poses
All the while one supposes
We under appreciate late

bookmark_borderChristmas USA

LYRICS
On such a cold winter’s eve
From greed can you take leave
In the age of hysteria
Push and shove given to love
First is last in America

Love gave way

On such a dark winter’s night
Being the beacon’s light
In the age of hysteria
From above shines on love
Last is first in America
America, USA
Loves the way

bookmark_borderThe Christmas Cure

LYRICS
Has my heart lost it’s allure
The way things are going… I’m not sure
Is the loving coming
Behind closed doors
Is the loving coming
More of a chore

In the thick of pandemic
Quick!
In the thick of pandemic
Quick!
The Christmas Cure
Rid the sick of their panic
Quick!
Rid the sick of their panic
Quick!
The Christmas Cure

ABOUT THE SONG
This song is entitled Christmas Cure because I almost died of COVID. After surviving the virus, I developed COVID-long Haulers Syndrome. When I started writing the album, I hoped the Christmas Spirit would bring a cure. Sure enough, through an Act Of God, I was shown the cure — COVID-19 Induced Secondary Pellagra (CISP) and the Coronavirus Cure.

bookmark_borderMercy

LYRICS
Please don’t take it personally
Are you sure that you can see
Blind to the facts
with your personal attacks
Showing no mercy

A little too tall
Step on the small
All too often going wild
On the meek and mild

Please don’t take it personally
Are you sure that you can see
Blind to the facts
with your personal attacks
Showing no mercy

A little too daft
To get a grasp
Last will be first
As first goes last
Showing mercy

Into the sheer
Sliced into clear
Shaved the fear

Clarity

Parity party
Expanding prisms from the breaking glass pass
At the speed of light
Delight
Into sheer
