[Silence

[Intro]
I find myself unaware
If we are there….
(Yet)

Are we there yet
(I’ve got to know)
Are we there yet
(I’ve got to go)

[Verse 1]
How much longer
Until we’re there
Bowels get stronger
Or we’ll need fresh air

[Bridge]
I find myself unaware
If we are there….
(Yet)

Are we there yet
(I’ve got to know)
Are we there yet
(I’ve got to go)

[Chorus]
Place your bets
(What are our odds)
We’ve seen the worst of it

More regrets
(Pray that your gods)
Can make disasters quit

[Verse 2]
How much farther
Have we got to go
I’d much rather
We get to the show

[Bridge]
I find myself unaware
If we are there….
(Yet)

Are we there yet
(I’ve got to know)
Are we there yet
(I’ve got to go)

[Chorus]
Place your bets
(What are our odds)
We’ve seen the worst of it

If we’re at the climax
Where do we go
From here (my dear)

[Verse 1]
Building and building
To a fevered pitch
Till our reason is tilting
Veering off in a ditch

Where do we go
From here (my dear)

A SCIENCE NOTE
Increasingly severe climate and nature driven impacts are highly likely, including fires, floods, heat and droughts. This is a national security issue as food, water and heat stresses will impact populations. If unchecked then mass mortality, involuntary mass migration events and severe GDP contraction are likely.

Planetary Solvency defines Catastrophic impacts as:
• Economic contraction, GDP loss of over 25%
• Mass human mortality events resulting in over 2 billion deaths
• Warming of 2°C or more, triggering high number of climate tipping points
• Breakdown of some critical ecosystem services and Earth Systems.
• Major Extinction Events in multiple geographies.
• Ocean circulation severely impacted.
• Severe socio-political fragmentation in many regions, low lying regions lost.
• Heat and water stress driving mass migration of billions.
• Catastrophic mortality events from disease, nutrition, thirst and conflict

ABOUT THE SONG
What an embarrassment to our country, to say the least. The wrong place, the wrong time, the wrong political rhetoric, and the wrong conspiracy theory to present to the world’s leading economists — today, at the World Economic Forum in Davos, President Donald Trump, appearing virtually, confronted Bank of America CEO Brian Moynihan. This came after Moynihan congratulated Trump on his victory, with Trump seizing the moment to accuse the bank of discriminating against conservative clients. Trump remarked, “I hope you start opening your bank to conservatives, because many conservatives complain that the banks are not allowing them to do business within the bank.” Ironically, Bank of America stock was up on the news.

However, his words and actions will inevitably prove detrimental to our long-term economic survival. Current projections for his deficit spending, tariffs, and tax cuts suggest that most of the federal budget will be consumed by mandatory spending and interest payments. Within the next two years, mandatory spending and interest payments are expected to exceed federal revenues.

At least it should be interesting to watch the Republican infighting as Trump tries to get these massive deficits approved by the House Freedom Caucus. However, what they’re doing to the Democrats—like withholding disaster relief to California unless they vote to raise the debt ceiling—is far less amusing.
