I wrote the song about the rising sea level. Coincidentally, the next day we got hit by tropical storm Andrea dumping inches of rain on us.

At one of my usual haunts for writing music, I had begun a songwriting session… when, a group of people started gathering around me. It appeared as though my “office” had become the site of a Monsanto protest.
So, I figured I’d write this song about it; however, I didn’t have a title. As I went to record the a video of the music, an alarm went off. It seemed to fit. Thus, the name of the song.
