LYRICS
Taking the all in
The best that I can
Taking the all in
The best that you can

Taking the all in
No need of a place to begin
More like a sponge… near infinite points on the fringe

Taking the all in
No need of a place to end
More like a circle or cycle
Your future’s right ’round the bend

Taking the all in
The best that I can
Taking you all in
That best that we can

LYRICS
There’s a line to your body
We could start with your neck
It feels fine going down your spine
The touch of a feather ever so lightly
Wondering what to expect

Where does the line go?
Follow the flow

Drifting past the small of your back

Where does the line go?
Follow the flow

Maybe we should start with your lips
At the ends, curving up so slightly
To unseal the kiss of a smile
Up past your ear, then veer toward the rear

Where does the line go?
Follow the flow

Who knows… if we start with your nose
Over the ledge of the chin’s edge
Through the passage of the cleavage
And, after all, drifting pass the navel

You’re drawing a fine line
I want to know
Where does it go
Where does it flow

LYRICS
Outrageous. Gorgeous. But, not dangerous.

No need to be afraid. You can approach.
Reach out. No need to fear you’ll encroach.

Put your ear to the atmosphere
And, hear what you will see
Put your eye to your mind
Hear what is meant by one-of-a-kind

Outrageous. Gorgeous.

LYRICS
Where would we be without the hives and the trees?
Where would we be without the birds and the bees?
What would you do without the innocence of children?
What would you do without the memory of been?

Do you think you’d miss a cool rain’s kiss?
Would you be remiss… speechless?

ABOUT THE SONG
Capo 5

A / D

Written and recorded on July 24, 2012 at Marsh Creek State Park, Chester County, Pennsylvania. For quite sometime, I have been conducting a study on deforestation of the Earth. While writing the song, I noticed the sun shining through the leaves of the tree… like is was winter time; however, it is summer. Then, a couple of small children walked up to me and said, “Thank you guitar man.” What would the world be like without trees? What would the world be like without the innocence of children?

LYRICS
’cause there is something about you
that makes me want to sing
’cause there is something about you
that makes me want to dance

The sparkle. The Twinkle. The glimmer in your eye
The uplift of your riff. The glimmer of your I.

’cause there is something about you
that makes me everything
’cause there is something about you
that makes me risk a chance

The sparkle. The Twinkle. The glimmer in your eye
The gift of your lift. The answer to my why.

LYRICS
I’ve been told… I’ve been told (before I was too old)… I’ve been told… you can
Take a little love and spread it all over the world

Spread it on bread
‘neath the bedspread
Anywhere you want to
Even in your head
Take it. Give it. Take it. Spread it!
Take a little love and spread it all over the world

Spread it on the ceiling
Spread it on the floor
Spread it. Spread it. Spread it ’till they beg for more
Spread it. Spread it. Spread it ’till you’re folklore
Take a little love and spread it all over the world

Spread it on with feeling
Spread it on a S’more
Spread the warm and fuzzy. Penetrate the core!
Believe me if you spread it you’ll never be a bore
Take a little love and spread it all over the world

Come on, come on
Spread it on…
Take a little love like a baby
Not a wanna be. Not a maybe.
Take a little love and spread it all over the world

Tune in
Can I connect to the frequency?
(Is this correct can I connect?)
Can I see the deity
I want to talk to God
Tick, tick, tick, tock
(Of your lifetime clock)

I just got to listen

I am here and I hear!

What if God is listening to us?
If we don’t discuss the fuss
Instead we try to shush

Shh… shh… She’s listening

I’m here and I hear
Right
Here
Right here

I’m human
I can and I am

No one else has to die on a cross
No more martyrs

Hey, you
I’m here and I hear
Right
Here
Right here

Wait for me

LYRICS
You wanna be a snake in the grass
You’re more like a red baboon ass
The monkey in you
Gets the better of me
And, I have to flee

A snake in the grass?
More like a red baboon ass
You want to show your dominance
You only show ignorance
A snake in the grass
Red baboon ass
You want to show your dominance
And, all that bleeds through is ignorance

So dumb
Make us numb
You breed conceit

Dominance ignorance

You wanna be a snake in the grass
You show your red baboon ass

You, monkey
Won’t get the better of me
I am not going to submit to the submission

ABOUT
Capo 4
Keep a finger on Ab of the D-4 string

Why do some people force dominance and violence… especially within a family?  A quote from Wikipedia about baboons:

“A female initiates mating by presenting her swollen rump to the male’s face. But “presenting” can also be used as a submissive gesture and is observed in males as well. This submissive gesture has many unspoken meanings amongst the troop. The dominant males often engage in what is known as a false-mount, in which they mount the submissive males. It is a sign of dominance, and happens very commonly to younger males in the troop.”

ABOUT
Capo 2
Played with a 5-string guitar (no G-string)
Keep index finger on A-5 string C# (for the most part)
F# variations with a beating beat

Written and recorded July 9, 2012 outside the Whitpain Township Police Department, Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. The song is about a dangerous mental illness that some people in authority develop — the militant attitude. On two separate occasions Whitpain Township Police officers sent me to the hospital, not to mention a host of other atrocities. In neither incident was I charged with a crime. Why do some people get pleasure from inflicting pain?

Did I dig into a nerve
Asking what God you serve?
Should have called 811
Now your #1 is on the run

Did I strike a nerve

Now your #1 is on the run

Did I dig into deep
Is your conscious starting to creep
Does reality seep?

ABOUT THIS SONG
G / D / A / E
E / D

Recorded on July 8, 2012. It is the fourth song from the album Baby Formula. The third song, Number One, was about physiological flaws verses spiritual flaws. This song questions your emotional stability when questioned about morals and ethics (and your spiritual flaws.)  The concept came about when I was watching an electric company workman, and I thought to myself, “I wonder why people don’t call God’s 811 before they start digging?”

Will the number one run all down your leg

When you meet your God
Will you have… bladder control
Will the number one roll all down your leg
As you go, will it flow into your shoe?
What will you do?
What if your God is watching right now?

ABOUT THIS SONG
B / E

Recorded on July 8, 2012. It is the third song from the album Baby Formula. The second song, Membrane, was about physiological flaws in humans. This song questions whether your bladder control will become impaired from physiological or spiritual flaws. It is meant to blend into the fourth song 811. It is meant to be an ironic statement about people who think they are #1, but when the pressure is on they go #1 in their pants.

ABOUT THIS SONG
C / Cm

Recorded on the night of July 7 and early morning July 8, 2012. It is the second song for the album about the meaning of life called Baby Formula. The first song, In God We Trust, was about the flawless reproduction of humans; however, sometimes something goes wrong and genes are flawed. Why? For instance, some people are colorblind, while other “normal” people choose not to see.
