A Tribute to Ikutaro Kakehashi
I happened to be in the midst of recording a MIDI based album when I learned of the passing of Ikutaro Kakehashi:

Ikutaro Kakehashi (梯 郁太郎 Kakehashi Ikutarō  7 February 1930 – 1 April 2017) was an engineer, an entrepreneur, and the founder of Ace Tone, Roland Corporation and ATV, Japanese manufacturers of electronic musical instruments. He was known for his role in the development of Ace Tone and Roland drum machines and the MIDI standard.

LYRICS
The supernatural is trending hard today
In the most peculiar way
Wouldn’t you say?

Better hold on tight
Gonna be a long night
The winds gotta bite
Better error toward right

We should left wrong along
Not so wayward prone
Chilled to the bone

Chorus

Is this The End of Times
Devilish riddles… hellish rhymes
Monster crimes

Chorus

They say an explosion out shines the Milky Way
An earthquake makes D.C. shake
What’s your take?

Chorus

Amid a bent pyramid
An impetus for evidence
Human cycle is on rinse
Chorus
