LYRICS
I believe you can do anything you set your mind to
I believe in you
I believe
I believe you can do anything you want to
As long as your sights are true
You can do what you want to do
As long as your sights are true

I believe
I believe in you
Once your set your mind to it
You can do it
Once your set your mind to it
You can do it

I believe you can do what you want to
As long as your heart is true
Set your sights high
You’ll figure out why
God is on your side
Then, you can rise and rise

LYRICS
If an angel hit your bug screen
Would you know what it means?
If an angel hit your windshield
Would you feel?

Are you familiar with the real deal
How an angel would feel
Are you familiar with the real deal
An angel is for real

You can thank God for your angels
Just don’t be satanic
And, throw this opportunity away
Forgo this opportunity today

It’s unlikely to come back another day
Don’t let is escape away
You know what to do
If an angel hits your bug screen
You don’t want it to be because you’re mean
If an angel hits your windshield
It would be wise to feel
Wiser yet to deal

bookmark_borderHere I Am

LYRICS
Now, here is where I am
Here is where we are
It may appear we haven’t moved far
But, we’ve been there and back again

Now, here is where we are

I’m hoping that along the way
We learned a lesson or two
Some sort-of cumulative knowledge
That will help us gain… an edge
So, we’ll be further ahead
So, we gain an edge
Not be perched on the ledge

Here is where I am
Here is where we are
Though it may appear that we haven’t moved that far
’cause we’ve been there and back again

bookmark_borderForget What You Are Doing

LYRICS
Please forget what you are doing
Can you forget what you’re doing
Forget what you are doing
There’s something more important ensuing
That is worth you pursuing
You’re undivided attention for more than a short span is required
Please, no excuse… you’re too tired
Please no excuses
And, no… you’re not being thrown under buses
It’s time we focus
Time to wake

Can you forget
For a moment
Or, longer yet
What you’re doing?
Whatever it is you’re doing
There’s something over here with pursuing
And, like it or not, it’s ensuing
Right now
It’s not the future
It’s not the past quite yet
But, if you can’t forget what you are doing
It will no longer be present

I’d like to catch it, bottle it, cork it for you
But, it’s going on… and I don’t know for how long

LYRICS
I walk upright
Am a little too bright
For my own good
That’s who I am
Did the best I could
Will do the best I can
’cause that’s who I am

Do you find it bizarre
That’s who we are

The omnivore
Cast as Earth’s whore
Just take a look at our shape…
Not much better than an ape

Coach, let’s catch the last stage coach
Ride off into the setting sun
As it all comes undone

The sun is shining in….

The sun is shining in
On the inside
The smile is twice as wide
On the inside

The sun is shining in….

Now, a new life can begin
The sun is shining in
The smile is twice as wide
On the inside

As the sun sets on society
We question
“Hey, didn’t we have plenty?”
Why the suffering
On the outside
There’s no place to run
There’s no placed to hide
On the outside

The sun is shining in
The smile is twice as wide
On the inside

Come on join in
Come on join in
On the inside
The smile is twice as wide

The sun is shining in

Let the sun shine in
On the inside
As the sun is setting on the outside

LYRICS
Take a look over there
Take a listen here
With a sound crystal clear
Among friends held dear

Dance is natural
It’ll make you bop and sock-hop
It’ll make you twirl
Music is magical
It’ll make you stop the stop
And, start to feel special

It’ll become your favorite spot
Make you feel comfortable being hot
When you play a song you’re beautiful
When you dance along your unbelievable
Let it be told — sold on out-of-this-world
Why not?

LYRICS
Come on back out, sunshine
Like I knew you would
I’m so glad you could
Happiness upon me… I feel fine
There’s no need to fear
We’re in the clear
With our only care — care
On our way there
It’s about time
And, we probably should
Thank the Lord. We’re never board
We’re in the clear
The light shines near
In fact, we’re intact
The light shines upon
So, come on!

LYRICS
Hello. Goodbye. Hello. Goodbye. Hello, again.
So glad to see you back in heaven again
I don’t know where to begin…
Well, all good dogs go to heaven
I’m beggin’, beggin’, beggin’ (please… on my knees)
Hope and pray you know what to do
Hope and pray you do
When the day comes due, I’ll see you

Wrecks, Toucan and Belvedere
We’ll see you on the other side of the atmosphere
Ria, Duke, Tralfaz, too
We’ll be seeing you in heaven

Once again… on the other side… with the wise

Writing the Song Flugtag on the Delaware River

LYRICS
We’re gonna fly this thing sink or swim
Invoked my thought process
Passed beyond a whim
Gonna build this colossus
Murphy’s Law can’t win
No, never gonna stop us
We’ll never give in

Can’t pull my pork… whack my pud
Ain’t gonna fall face-flat in the mud
Pop your cork
Never a dud
Get behind us, and we’ll call you bud

ABOUT THE SONG

Written and recorded on September 15 and 16, 2012 at the Race Street Pier, Philadelphia and the West Chester, Pennsylvania. It was inspired by inspiration and innovation of the participants in the Red Bull FLugtag competition, as well as, the cooks at the West Chester Restaurant Festival. In the Flugtag event, contestants build contraptions and then try to fly them over the Delaware River. At the restaurant festival, cooks make adventurous dishes like Duck Tacos and fried pickles… then try to coax the crowd into becoming consumers.

LYRICS
Once upon a time the West was wild
The impact of man having been mild
It’s been quite a while
Since there’s been a wolf’s howl

Now, the West isn’t the same (no, no more)
The Western man made it lame
“Of course, you’d better shoot that horse!”

Amazing
Should of stuck to gazing not grazing, hazing, razing, phasing, tasing
’till every red man is a dead man
Burning the planet of its plants
Stripped the mines as if they’re yours
Who knows if life endures
