LYRICS
Can I start workin’ it a bit
While I think on it
Fore sure, I’d love to know the big picture
… if I start, I can always quit

If I wait to hesitate
Lost time can’t regurgitate
Repeat: to time defeat

In “The End” ride off into the sunset
’til then, I’ve started to begin
My friend, forget about regret
As long as the time that’s mine is livin’

I leave grievin’ starvin’
And keep on believin’ in lovin’

LYRICS
In the mish-mash of the humanity insanity
You are fine art removed from vanity
A perfect picture of compassion
With love you don’t ration

You’re giving away a sum
To anyone that wants some
Crossed the finish line, yet never done
Shinning brighter than the sun

Why don’t we all just do it
Hold all of us to it
Why not change the world
Before we get too old

In the mish-mash of the humanity insanity
You put optimism in opportunity
A pure champion of compassion
With love you don’t ration

“Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt.”

LYRICS
Ho, ho, ho, hallelujah
Ho, ho, ho, hallelujah
Do you know
How does the saying go?

Recipe for a gingerbread house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse
Do you know
How does the saying go?

Stockings hung by the chimney with care
Something about roasting chestnuts there
Do you know
How does the saying go?

Dashing… ore the fields we go
Don’t forget the mistletoe
Do you know
How does the saying go?

We three kings of orient are
Do you see what I see… follow the star
Do you know
How does the saying go?
Rudolph with your nose so bright
With a tail… a tail as long as a kite
Do you know
How does the saying go?
Oh, holy night
May all your Christmases be white
Do you know
How does the saying go?

What a lucky lad
When you look back
At all you had
What a lucky lad

Chorus
And, they all join in
With the words you’ve given
Make them sing and shout
Get the words out

I suppose
When it comes to prose
Nothing you lack
Please give a dose
… a word attack

All I can say is that my life is pretty plain

  A G E E7
I like watchin’ the puddles gather rain

    E D
And all I can do is just pour some tea for two

    A G E E7
and speak my point of view but it’s not sane, It’s not sane

E D E D
I just want some one to say to me oh,

So stay with me and I’ll have it made

And I don’t understand why I sleep all day

And I start to complain that there’s no rain

And all I can do is read a book to stay awake

   A G E
It rips my life away, but it’s a great escape

escape, escape, escape

E D
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain

         A
ya don’t like my point of view

ya think that I’m insane

Its not sane, it’s not sane

LYRICS
I can’t see clear
Until I’m outta here

’till the shackles are gone
I can’t go wrong
Free of the ball and chain
Before I can roam again

Where do we go from here

I can see your fence
And, I can see past
To a fence past tense
And, we’re free at last

We can see clear
To a place outta here
We can be free
There’s a place… it can be!

Thank you for putting me here, my Lord
For that I am
I can bare witness to this
Yes, I can

For that I am

’cause I’m here
And, it’s now
That I am
And, it is
I can bare witness to this

Thank you for putting me here, my Lord
So, I can hear, and I can testify
I saw it with my eye
I eye I

You, yes, you
You gave me the ability to be
With that came the ability to see
That I can

LYRICS
That would be tragic
If you fell victim to black magic

“From there I shall come to judge the quick…
And, the dead.”

Lively up yourself
Don’t be no dread

That would be tragic
If you fell victim to black magic

For you mental health
Don’t cast a spell on yourself

That would be tragic
If you fell victim to black magic

You are my sunshine
The only sunshine
Bring love and feeling fine

That would be tragic
If you fell victim to black magic

Abracadabra the white magic
Cure the ill… heal the sick

LYRICS
Did you know
God’s all around
Did you know
God’s easily found
Did you know
God does abound

Right before your eyes
You can come to realize
God’s all around

God can be found all around
Did you know
Are you aware
God is everywhere
Did you want to feel an inner peace
An outer peace
Do you want to share everything
Less the dread
(God’s not dead!)

God’s all around
Wanting to be found

Don’t ever let it be said
That you went to bed
Without giving the proper kudos
About the Good News

If you want to see
If you want to be

She’ll be with me
She’ll be with you, too
’cause She’s in plain view
She doesn’t want to hide
She doesn’t want anywhere near the darkside

God’s everywhere
If you declare
God will be there
If you justify
If you testify
I saw Her with my eye

God is here
God is now
No need for “somehow”

LYRICS
If you are living in fear
Thinking the end is near
Let it be forgot
’cause it’s not
But, can’t you see the tragedy
Living in slow, lingering misery

There could come the day when you pray
The End is near
But, for now there’s nothing to fear

So, if we can steer clear
We can see through tragedy
We’ve got to see it
We’ve got to do it
Follow through
Me and you… let’s do!

We can make every day a little brighter
We can make love a little tighter
We can do it if we choose
I don’t think anyone would rather lose?

LYRICS
When you lookout, lookout, lookout
From behind your eyes
Is it any… surprise?!?!

Got to get up, get up, get up
And, rise

When you stand up, stand up, stand up
For what you believe
You will bring… relief
Surmise — rise!

Got to get up, get up, get up
And, rise

When you speak out, speak out, speak out
About injustice
You raise consciousness
A prize for those that rise

Got to get up, get up, get up
And, rise

bookmark_borderOwn Worst Enemy

A song inspired by a friend’s Facebook post:

So, 88-98% of corn, cotton (cotton oil–as in what a lot of potato chips are cooked in), canola oil, and soybean crops grown are genetically engineered. About 80% of the crops are to feed livestock. So what evolution has taken 3 billion years to create, humankind can destroy in 40 years. Maybe that’s the plan, to kill off our own kind to revert back to the beginning, with a little plastic and holes in the ozone as a special bonus. Kudos, Homo sapiens. We’ve really “outdone” ourselves.

LYRICS
What is it that I walk upon?
I wish we had the insight to look on and on and on
And, we found the ground
Underneath our feet
Are we going to be our own defeat?

What is that that I breath
Has the air gone up in thin air
Is there something more than just our air in there
What is it we breath
Are we our own disease?

Will we beat
Into defeat
Will we beat
Our own defeat

What is that in our food
Is it any good
What we eat
Are we our own defeat?

I don’t think we can cheat Mother Nature
It’s us we beat into defeat

We’re going to beat ourselves into defeat
And, I would say it’s time to change the seat
This game of musical chairs is going nowhere
I don’t want to be the last one standing
It won’t be any fun if I’m the only one that does remain
It might even drive you insane

I really want to know, “How close are you?”

Our flesh is mesh

LYRICS
I’ve seen some strange things around here
Under the atmosphere
When you’re down to earth
It’s quite odd
How humanity wants to rob humanity
Rob, rob, rob

… some strange things around here
Under here
Under the atmosphere
When you get down to Earth
And, a human birth
You might call it insanity
The way humanity
Just loves to bask in vanity
Yeah, I’ve seen some strange things around here
Under the atmosphere

Didn’t you, too?
Part of the human zoo
Or, are you a zookeeper
Of the moral Lepers?

I’ve seen some strange things around here
Under the atmosphere
When you’re down to earth
