LYRICS
The fox is in the henhouse
The barn door’s open wide
The cat eaten by a mouse
The outside’s come inside
Where does your heart reside?

Hit the floor start to roar
Know for sure we’ll endure
Hit the deck, bounce, eject
Introspect then reflect
… some more

The fox is in the henhouse
The barn door’s open wide
The cat eaten by a mouse
The outside’s come inside
Where does your heart reside?

Finish first then do more
The allure as before
Getting young in the head
Loving heart in the stead
… instead

Coversong originally made famous by Greg Lake
Written by Greg Lake with lyrics by Peter Sinfield

Dsus2 G6 D
They said there'll be snow at Christmas
They said there'll be peace on earth,
But instead it just kept on raining,
A veil of tears for the Virgin birth.

C G D
I remember one Christmas morning,
C G D
The Winter's light and a distant choir,
         D A G D
And the peal of a bell and that Christmas tree smell,
    D G6 Dsus2
And eyes full of tinsel and fire.

They sold me A dream of Christmas,
They sold me A silent night,
They told me A fairy story,
'Til I believed in the Israelite.
Chorus
I wish you A hopeful Christmas,
I wish you A brave New Year,
All anguish, pain and sadness,
Leave your heart and let your road be clear.

Dsus2 G6 D
They said there'd be snow at Christmas,
They said there'd be peace on earth,
D A G6 D
Hallelujah! Noel!, be it Heaven or Hell,
     D G6 Dsus2
The Christmas we get, we deserve.

To hear some Christmas cheer

Feel free to join in

Clappin’ and dancin’
Tappin’ your feet
Bumpin’ your seat

LYRICS
Everyone knows how it feels to be the bad man
From a badland
They understand
But do you know how it feels to be a good man
Up on the bandstand
Free! In command

Let the music poor/pour from you
Pour some more
Let the music poor/pour from you
’till it flows all over me, too

No one wants to feel mistreated
Repeated… in the same grade
Rather feel elevated
Elated… we’ve got it made

Let the music poor/pour from you
Pour some more
Let the music poor/pour from you
’till it flows all over me, too

LYRICS
It’s only raining under the cloud
Don’t feel the need to feel proud
Step out from under your cloud
And rise above
Feel the shine of love
Rise, rise above
Start to shine your love

Warmhearted polish applied liberally
Servanthood relish supplied happily
Good-heart polish buffed with glee
Rise, rise above
Feel the shine of love
Rise, rise above
Start to shine your love

Shine your love, baby
I try to it regularly / frequently
Put on a fine, fine shine
And let the world know you glow

Play some music and play it loud
Got the spirit… well endowed
Come now, girl, out from under the cloud
Put on a fine shine
Rise, rise above
Feel the shine of love
Rise, rise above
Start to shine your love

LYRICS
I’m sure going to miss this
No candy canes at Christmas
The devil has them away
There’ll be no sugar on Christmas Day
Go figure
Hostage to shortage
For the holiday

There’s no gas in the tank
No rubber for the wheels
Still we thank God that Christmas feels
Yank our hopes from depths sank
Go figure
Hostage to shortage
For the holiday

Poor Santa
Can’t even bring us coal
But I won’t cry to Ma or Pa
Love can fill our stockings hole

LYRICS
Had to beg my brother
For a little sugar
Had to make the sugar
Last a little further
Trying to make the gas last
Toothpaste tubes into shrapnel
Ice cream treat rare and special
Had to beg my brother
For a little sugar
Had to make the sugar
Last a little further
He would rather not bother
Chances were slim with him
Had to beg my brother
For a little sugar
Had to make the sugar
Last a little further
Remembering the war that passed
Reminiscing life in the past
Reminiscing the scene

December seven… miles from heaven
On a date with infamy
Render “we shall never surrender”
And join our warring family
Remembering the obscene scene

The head of a little girl will fill
With the sound of sirens from an air raid drill
And over head, as the little girl goes to sleep at night
Search lights fueling the fright
Is that right?
That’s not right
Right?

Finally, all the way to the light of day
I scream…
Ice cream
The head of a little girl will fill with an ice cream chill
Ice cream in our freezer — a better day
As the thoughts of a little girl fill
Gone is feeling fear that way

ABOUT THE SONG

Chords: Cm Csus4 Cm7 C
Rhythm: 67 –> 81 BPM
Recording: digital 15-track stereo
Instrumentation: Vocals, Keyboards and Synthesizers

I was listening to my mother being interviewed about her life. During World War II, she was a little girl (5 to 8-years-old.) After remembering all the shortages and difficulties, she recalled not having felt that fear again. The United States has felt safe and secure for the rest of her life.

During the war period, a horse drawn carriage would bring a block of ice for the refrigerator. It wasn’t until after the war that the family could get an electric refrigerator and freezer for ice cream.

December 7, 1941 — “a date which will live in infamy,” President Franklin D. Roosevelt
“We shall never surrender,” Winston Churchill (4 June 1940)

The music turned out to be inspired by Pink Floyd’s The Wall.

LYRICS
You know
It’s cold enough to snow
But will it add up?
You know
The north winds do blow
But will it add up?

Accumulation
Of frozen precipitation
Accumulation
Winter’s anticipation

Confront
The arrival of a cold front
But will it add up?
Storm warning
Temperature’s freezing
But will it add up?

Accumulation
Of frozen precipitation

LYRICS
Let the bells ring
May the angels sing
Please God anything
Is Christmas near?

Let the bells ring
May the angels sing
Please God something
Is Christmas near?
Is Christmas here?
Please bring Christmas cheer

Do wise men follow The Star
If so wonder… wander how far
Are shepherds awoken from sleep
So that they might take a peep

Did the wisemen make it further
Did the Virgin Mary break hear water
Has the King Of King’s yet been born
When will we ever learn

Is Christmas here yet
Another year with no regret
Is Christmas here yet
Another year I’ll never forget

Nature is giving us all the signs to forecast our future. The same techniques used in weather forecasting can be applied to political forecasting.

“The leaves of deciduous trees, like maples and poplars, do often turn upward before heavy rain. The leaves are actually reacting to the sudden increase in humidity that usually precedes a storm.”

“The butterfly effect is the concept that small causes can have large effects. Initially, it was used with weather prediction but later the term became a metaphor used in and out of science.

In chaos theory, the butterfly effect is the sensitive dependence on initial conditions in which a small change in one state of a deterministic nonlinear system can result in large differences in a later state.”

What is the toll
On your soul
Do you miss Christmas?
Frozen over hell
Isn’t just as well
We’re going to miss
The White Christmas
Celebrate the birth
Let’s give back Earth
Piece of Earth
Peace on Earth

What is the loss
Baby-bathwater toss
God! To fear it
No Christmas spirit
We’re going to miss
All of Christmas
Celebrate the birth
Let’s give back Earth

LYRICS
Tough kid
It’s rough kid
Unaware of the rolling boulder
Tough kid
With a chip on his shoulder
Unaware of the rolling boulder

Better take shelter
I fear
Helter skelter
Is breaking out around here
The rolling boulder…
Look past the chip… over your shoulder
If you want to grow older

Your chip might be harvested
Divested
Of all you did
Done undone
Days number to less than one
