LYRICS
Do you understand
Give me back my land
Sing “I’m an earthling”
What havoc you bring
Now, won’t you be a darling
Alas,
Careful the door doesn’t hit you in the ass

Do you understand
Give me back my land
Sing “I’m an earthling”
Champion of the trashing/trashing
Now, won’t you please be a darling
Alas,
Don’t let the door hit you in the ass

Do you understand
Give me back my land
Sing “I’m an earthling”
Overbearing and demanding
Now, once you’re done your damning
Alas,
Careful the door doesn’t hit you in the ass

This is a song about feedback loops. Do you know what they are? They will likely kill you, your children and your grandchildren.

LYRICS
Da, doi! To ourselves duped
By our own feedback loop
Feedback looped

This ain’t no scoop (It’s old knews)
I ain’t screaming “extra, extra, extra…
Read all about it”
Da, da, da
I’m meanin’
I ain’t screamin’
Da, da, da
Forget about it

Hear and him
Fell victim
To the feedback loop
And, it’s going down
In your town

I mean literally
And, well…
As well
As… figuratively
[When you eat in, you poop
Feedback loop]

LYRICS
What to do
When you
Won’t except the truth is true
Are you
A denier
Or a liar?

Tainted
Point-of-view
Painted
Whitewash, too
Are you
A denier
Or a liar?

Maybe you don’t care
How you foul the air
But I sure think
You really stink
Are you
A denier
Or a liar?

LYRICS
If this is the last time
I’m gonna have a good time
I was told when I grow old
I’m gonna leave behind my body and mind
A collision course
With mass extinction
Of course

Not gonna hide for the final ride
Take my inside outside
And spread it wide
I’m gonna spread the word that man’s absurd
Climb to the highest rung
Sung from the top of my lungs
“Oh, man. Oh, my, my, Lord”

’til they drop the curtain for our last bow
I’m gonna make certain there’s not somehow
To save some space for the human race
And ya know… enjoy the thrill of the show

The child fighter makes for a real nail-biter

Do you know there’s no more encore?

What? There’s no encore? I paid good money for this ticket!

LYRICS
Another sandstorm
Cause for alarm?
Desert encroaching
Death Valley approaching

Climate change refugee
Sure is troubling me
Climate change refugee
Global warming tragedy
Escape while you can flee
Won’t you please set me free

Saltwater intrusion
Mass confusion
Seek higher ground?
None to be found

Chorus

Giant tumbleweed
I had to concede
No food for feed
Starving, indeed

LYRICS
No matter what might happen
Man just carries on
Keeps carrying on and on and on

Call it cuckoo extincting the cuckoo
I know about me… don’t know about you
Do you call that cuckoo, too?

Not to mention we’ve been told
We’re melting ice millions of ears old
A provocation action… rather bold

No matter what might happen
Man just carries on
Keeps carrying on and on and on

We sunk California more than 40 feet deep
But, I’ve yet to hear anyone make a peep
Man is the world’s predator creep

Polluting the land, air and sea
As long as the consequences don’t bother me
What do you mean “we’ll have to wait and see”?

Children going from crying
To drop dead dying
Why aren’t we even trying

No matter what might happen
Man just carries on
Keeps carrying on and on and on

It won’t be that long now
’til we see reality
Hoping there is somehow
We can adapt quickly
Have you heard the scoop

Painstaking
Accelerating
Exasperating
Eliminating

A new day is dawning
For some The End… others anew
Light and darkness spawning
Giving birth. Which are you?

Chorus

On the flipside
There’s no place to hide
All your inside
Resides outside

Don’t know if it’s gonna snow
Ask my brain if it’s rain
Sunshine and rainbow
Just when I thought I had nothing to fear
Sure lookin’ like global warming is here

Will we survive the scary ride
There’s another record high tide
Praying flood waters will subside
Just when I thought I had nothing to fear
Sure lookin’ like global warming is here

Didn’t know the wind would blow
Fracture the structure… to and fro
I’m guessing that it’s time to go
Just when I thought I had nothing to fear
Sure lookin’ like global warming is here

How am I to beat the heat
When our fields are concrete
Even conceit’s gotta admit defeat
Just when I thought I had nothing to fear
Sure lookin’ like global warming is here

Can we bear to kill another bear
Should be aware of the cross we’ll bear

In their fight for me, me, me

LYRICS
As the NOT’s in the climate tangle
Need to wrangle a new angle
As the NOT’s in the climate knot
The knot of the winds increase
Sustained winds that wouldn’t cease
Then, the rain came down all around
Until the ground was awash in a flood
Up to my eyeballs in gook, muck and mud

The have’s and the have not’s
All have knots
All have knot
All in knots
Over having “not”

All the world is a stage in The Damage Age

Force 12
Hurricane’s off the shelve
Starting out at 64 knot
Yet not
Done
Sure ain’t no whatnot
Better run
Yell, fella, “To the storm cellar!”

Tangled In Not’s.mp3

ABOUT THE SONG
Chords
C C# Cm C#m

A song about wind speeds (in knots) and human induced climate change.

“A universal scale of wind speed values — since the scale was originally nautical in nature, and that most wind reports at that time were in nautical miles per hour (or converted to them), these numerical values were given in knots. It was a progressive scale with the range of speed for Forces increasing as you go higher. Thus Force 1 is only 3 knots in range (1 kt – 3 kt), while the Force 11 is eight knots (56 kt – 63 kt) in range. So Force 12 [Hurricane] starts out at 64 knots (74 mph, 33 m/s).”

While the tides are rising higher
Would’ve thought it our desire

A Song About Water
A Song About Water

ABOUT THE SONG
Chords
C Em Am
B E Am

The song was inspired by a lot of misleading information trending in social-media about Nestle and the California drought. The facts of the matter are — most of the water in California is used for agriculture. Nearly 50 billion cubic metres (13 trillion gallons) of water is used in California each year. Nestle bottled water plants only use 705 million gallons a year. Almond growers use about as much water each year as the entire city of Los Angeles. What percentage of California’s water is used by agriculture? 80 %.

The real cause of the problem is Human Induced Climate Change. As droughts increase in frequency and intensity, the sea level is rising. So not only are the droughts a problem, but salt water intrusion is also a problem. As these problems worsen, the solution is not to blame bottled water companies. Nor is the solution to build desalination plants. (Not only do desalination plants contribute to global warming, they also are devastating to the ocean.)

The solution is for humans to take responsibility for the climate change and take action.

LYRICS
Hard to believe
The air we breath
Where to begin
It’s doing us in
In broad daylight
Like a thief (in the night)
Not breathing in
Is the only relief
Disbelief
There’s no relief

Non-admission
To our emissions
Middle-finger salute
As we pollute
Procrastination
Due to indecision
Conscious mute
The point is moot
Disbelief
There’s no relief

Redirection
Of our emotion
Elixir fixer
A love potion
Time to wake up
And smell the coffin-ly
If there time
It’s just barely
Disbelief
There’s no relief
