LYRICS
The fallacy of their bureaucracy
Is embedded in their head
The fallacy of their bureaucracy
Is headed where we dread
In fact, it’s quite frightening
Getting struck twice by lightning
(The hypocrisy of the bureaucracy)
The fallacy of their bureaucracy
Rains reign on our head
The fallacy of their bureaucracy
Reigns the arts are dead
In fact, it’s quite frightening
Getting struck twice by lightning
(The hypocrisy of the bureaucracy)
The fallacy of their bureaucracy
Don’t let it be spoon-fed
The fallacy of their bureaucracy
Should be eliminated instead
The hypocrisy of the bureaucracy
The fallacy of their democracy
The hypocrisy of the bureaucracy
The hypocrisy of their democracy
The fallacy of their bureaucracy
The hypocrisy of the bureaucracy
LYRICS
Do you like staring a gift horse
In the mouth
Are running the same coarse
Every month
Let’s see… assume
Hmmmm…
Shall I assume you’ll make an ass of you and me
Ass-u-me
Do you like cutting off your nose
Spite your face
Do you assume and suppose
Deserved space?
Light Year: a unit of astronomical distance equivalent to the distance that light travels in one year, which is 9.4607 × 1012 km (nearly 6 trillion miles).
ABOUT THE SONG
Style: Freedom Folk Rock
Chords: A / D G A / E G A
Recording: live
Vocals, Guitar
Written at the corners of Gay and Church Streets and High and Market Streets. Recorded in Chester County, West Chester, PA.
This is a song about the music lovers in West Chester. While I was writing a song about appreciating the fans, a two-year-old walked over to me. He reached into his pocket and gave me two shiny pennies. Later in the day, a lady came up to me and said, “You are a staple of the community. I love driving into my town and hearing you.”
LYRICS
Better watch out or they’re gonna get you
If you let your guard down
There’s not much you can do
When the mayor wears a golden crown
Everything smashes to ashes
And we all fall down
Our sacred Constitution
Usurped by The Institution
A song written at the Mayor’s mansion
That was born on the back of others’ misfortune
The stink of hate ain’t up for debate
Elite feast on their despise of the least
Chorus
The message they’ll send in the end
“It broke. It would not bend.”
Now, humanity can not mend
Because your message was “The End”

Inspired by Mayor Carolyn Comitta and events at the corner of Gay and Church Streets. Recorded at the Mayor’s mansion in West Chester, PA.
WEST CHESTER, PA — The West Chester Police department continues to be tangled in an ever-growing web of police misconduct and illegal activities. Now, Police Chief Scott Bohn and Mayor Carolyn Comitta are being called into question.
Starting in April, multiple police officers have been implicated in retaliation, witness intimidation, obstruction of justice, lying under oath, falsifying police reports, conspiracy to commit a crime, interfering with an internal affairs investigation, police misconduct, terroristic threats, harassment, civil rights violations and hate crimes.
The line “Our sacred constitution
Usurped by The Institution” was inspired by a long time West Chester resident that heard about The Busking Ordinance. Thomas said, “That’s against the Constitution!”
LYRICS
If this is the last time
I’m gonna have a good time
I was told when I grow old
I’m gonna leave behind my body and mind
A collision course
With mass extinction
Of course
Not gonna hide for the final ride
Take my inside outside
And spread it wide
I’m gonna spread the word that man’s absurd
Climb to the highest rung
Sung from the top of my lungs
“Oh, man. Oh, my, my, Lord”
’til they drop the curtain for our last bow
I’m gonna make certain there’s not somehow
To save some space for the human race
And ya know… enjoy the thrill of the show
The child fighter makes for a real nail-biter
Do you know there’s no more encore?
What? There’s no encore? I paid good money for this ticket!
