LYRICS
Come on everybody give it one more try
One more try and you’ll know why
Come on everybody we can all get by
One more try — turn the vibration high
You’ll know why
You’ll know why
It matters to try
When we try
Try, try, try
Vibration’s high
If everyone everywhere becomes aware
I’m tellin’ ya folks we’ll be almost there
IF everyone everywhere will start to care
Then my friend, we’ll be already there
Chorus

ABOUT THE SONG

Written at the corner of Gay and Church Streets. Recorded at Everhart Park in Chester County, West Chester, PA.
The intersection of Church and Gay Streets is my favorite place to write songs. Not only is it inspirational for lyrics, but the groove of the music can also be tested. Within minutes of starting this song, children of all ages began dancing… a 4-year-old boy started gyrating, a 5-year-old girl twisted and shook, a 1-year-old girl did the up n’ down dance and several adults couldn’t help themselves.
The lyrics were inspired by the public hearing about writing music at Gay Church.

LYRICS
I went to my usual spot
Where I sit just ’bout every day
I thought things were going in the usual way
But, there in my seat
Were sandwiches… cheese and meat
A free lunch on its way
A free lunch here today
A free lunch…
A free lunch… what can I say?
I’ve always had a hunch
There’s such thing as “a free lunch”
Did Friedman feed men?
Was Milton smitten?
’cause I find it fittin’
I’ve a bunch of free lunch

LYRICS
You in neon blue
Sure come sure come shinning through…
You do
The way you dazzle
Causing a hassle
Speak? I tried…
Tongue twisted and tied
I must confess
A blue neon dress
On you…
Making dreams come true

LYRICS
Do you have fears when you listen with your ears
Palpitations start when you listen to your heart
Dropping jaw
Staring in awe
Amaze for days
Dazed n’ askew
Unfounded kind
Dumbfounded mind
Not just you… but for me, too
Do you hear cheers when you listen to the young
Does the feel heal when the song is heart sung
Chorus

LYRICS
An uneasy feeling sweeps the country
Will an uneasy feeling creep in to me
An uneasy feeling reaps the travesty
Will an uneasy feeling seep inside of me
The time is now
To find somehow
The goal — insight
Is the goal in sight
An uneasy feeling sweeps this century
An uneasy feeling keeps uncertainty
An uneasy feeling leap to insanity
An uneasy feeling deep inside of me
Chorus

LYRICS
I want to believe in charity
See clearly faith and hope
Make hate into a rarity
To the naysayers — nope
Thankful to be alive
Now let’s strive for all to thrive
I want to believe in humanity
Feel dearly and interlope
Before love is a scarcity
Civilization at the end of a rope
Thankful to be alive
Now let’s strive for all to thrive
I want to believe in eternity
Bring infinity into scope
Will our race have longevity
Can our species forever cope

LYRICS
Just in case you wanted to watch
An opportunity to botch
On your gun’s stock another notch
And then Daniel said,
“It’s time for the rising of the dead.”
As your life passes you by
Do you ever wonder why
You’ll while away… then you’ll died
And then Daniel said,
“It’s time for the rising of the dead.”
Then, at the end of your day
What will you have to say?
“Sorry, Lord! I’ve lost my way.”
Daniel said, “It’s time for the rising of the dead.”

DANIEL 12
(1) “Daniel, at that time the great prince Michael will stand up. Michael is in charge of your people. There will be a time of much trouble, the worst time since nations have been on earth. But Daniel, at that time every one of your people whose name is found written in the book of life will be saved. (2) There are many who are dead and buried. Some of them will wake up and live forever, but others will wake up to shame and disgrace forever. (3) The wise people will shine as bright as the sky. Those who teach others to live right will shine like stars forever and ever.

LYRICS
Look at the domino
Standing in a row
And you know which way it’ll go
Domino in a row
Wobbling to and fro
Can not stop it… no, no, no
The taller they are
The further they fall
The bigger they are
The harder they are gonna fall
Oh, oh, oh, oh
There they go
Knocking each other down
You know it’s gonna be so
Jack falls down and breaks his crown

LYRICS
I had to think quick
But my head’s too think
Nothing ‘gainst hicks
… just city homesick
Going to get my people fix
Hitting the bricks
After all
Ain’t buildin’ no wall
Hitting the bricks
Getting our kicks
Rhythm and licks
Hitting the bricks

LYRICS
If one thing is for certain
It’s that love can reign again
All we need do is let the light in
Another thing that’s for certain
Doesn’t matter where you begin
Any time of day find the way to lovin’
As long as you’re livin’
The taken equals the given
If we choose to lose
How can we ever win
Wasting a life would be a sin
Ain’t about paying dues
In order to play the blues
Just open your heart and start feelin’
As long as you’re livin’
The taken equals the given

LYRICS
Round and round we go
Take a partner by the hand
Spin her ’round ’til ya understand
Round and round we go
You know…
Round and round we go
Until you know
Round and round we go
On your feet if you can stand
Spin her ’round ’til ya understand
Round and round we go
You know…
Round and round we go
Centrifugal force in command
Spinning ’round ’til I understand
Round and round we go
You know…
Round and round we go
