LYRICS
One door will make you small
The other one will make you tall
Fly out the window
Up to the sky
Or maybe you’ll follow
The call of gravity… and fall

Command and choose a hand
You’ll come to understand
The wisdom of random
In our chaos kingdom
Or maybe you’ll swallow
The bliss of ignorance

One side will fix it all
The other drop the ball
One lives in shadow
The other blue sky
Belly ache n’ wallow
Or get it on the ball
After all

A song about chaos not being random (and the science of political science. ) “A dripping faucet seems random but when plotted… reveals an eerie order unexpected by conventional means.”

LYRICS
Oh, what a year it’s been
When hell freezing over did begin
Polarization at the polls
Realization of whose hearts have holes
Oh, what a year it’s been
When hell freezing over did begin
Listen! (Hear the) screams of tortured souls
Heaven? Better forget such lofty goals

King of the rude and crude
Destroys our peaceful interlude
The pseud of the shrewd “dude”
Screwed by lewd attitude

Delusional… the delusion of all
Install the “Great America” fall
Encourage the brawl
Encourage the maul
Drop your jaw in appall

When I have you at hand… come to understand

LYRICS
I love the morning when I rise
Another day… another surprise
It always feels like noon is here too soon
Wish the day would never go away
Until the nightime

When the light gets slight
It’s the right time
Get a dose of holding you close

First Verse

You’re my spark in the dark
The fire in desire
The nightime
Feels like the right time

From the dawn’s first light
’til I go sleep at night
I don’t mind you’re on my mind
Girlfriend
On my mind all the time
Girlfriend

From the day’s beginning
’till the day’s end
Her thought keeps me going
Girlfriend

Love’s on the home stretch
Love’s just around the bend
Going to catch this train
Refrain:
Girlfriend

Can I call you girlfriend?

LYRICS
If your day is turning gray
Here’s a ditty to help it turn pretty
And clear the clouds away

If your way has gone astray
Here’s a number to help you recover
And steer you from dismay

If the weight of the world is on your shoulder
Here’s some juice to help you feel stronger
And ensure you endure longer

Do your roots have the notion
Of how to shake the foundation
When you awake at the new sunrise
One that applies demise of demise tries
Push, push for the thread to be fed
Through the I of the need-all
Let understanding be bred
No matter how long the haul

LYRICS
It’s not the size that matters
Which weighs (ways) more
… a pound of bricks or feathers
It’s not the gift but the thought that counts
Enjoy the thrift as the cost mounts

Waste not want not before it’s bought
Live in peace… no gore
From battles fought
It’s not the gift but the thought that counts
Enjoy the thrift as the cost mounts

It’s not hat size that matters
When all thoughts
… rip, torn… left in tatters
It’s not the gift but the thought that counts
Enjoy the thrift as the cost mounts

Your best is best regardless of the rest
When you give your all
We’re less likely to fall
It’s not the gift but the thought that counts
Enjoy the thrift as the cost mounts

ABOUT THE SONG
Chords – Capo 6

C A

Inspired by the ice bucket challenge. When a friend challenged me to the “ice bucket challenge”, I had mixed feelings. Initially, I was against the way this marketing ploy unfolded. On the other hand, my cousin died shortly after being diagnosed with ALS. Awareness is something I can support. So, I started thinking, “it’s the thought that counts… size doesn’t matter.” Then, I found the smallest bucket I could find, filled it with a cup of water and an ice cube.

LYRICS
Drop the ball. Drop the cup.
It’s the little things that really add up
When you get down to it
Intuit(ion) habit habitat
Once you’re on the ball
It’ll be no mystery at all

At the drop of a hat
If a fat cat sat
Don’t let it hurt a bit
Intuit(ion) habit habitat
Once you are on call
… no quagmire at all

LYRICS
Do you wonder if it’s too late now
Are you gonna save us somehow
… anyhow… somehow… anyway
Please say you’ll save the day
“Children go on… it’s safe to play”?

Did I miss the final curtain call
Is it over in the all-in-all
Please say we’ll have our say
Tomorrow will follow today

Do you wonder is there time to wonder
Did we stray too far off when we wander
Please shout out, “Hey, hey, hey!”
We’ll all live to see the day
