LYRICS
Becoming intimate with inanimate objects
Even the Devil objects
Going to hell in a hand-basket
Yet….
Have we a redeeming quality?
Search me
More than devilish… it’s selfish

Do you care that there’s humans out there
Who said life is fair
Time for your soul to bare

Intimate to inanimate objects
Even the devil objects
Don’t you care to give
To those that live

Intimidate the flesh
Intimidate the blood
Intimidate the bone
Doesn’t mesh… flood the compassion zone
Out of fashion compassion
Time you leave it alone

LYRICS
Did you know you had skin so thin
The light can shine right though you
Translucent, isn’t it?

Light feel alright
You can feel alright
Go into the light
Face the light
Embrace the light
Feelin’ alright

Skin so thin it can pass right through you
Let out
Let it in
Skin so thin

See Through Skin
See Through Skin

I think I’m gonna begin
Letting the light in
Just realized my skin is so thin
I can see right through me
The light will pass right through you, too

Translucent, isn’t it?
A special present
Heaven sent
Let the light in
Your thin skin

God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen / House of the Rising Sun.mp3

A song about the downtrodden and our hope, faith and charity.

The first time I recorded a version of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, I was just learning what the song meant. The time was right after 9/11. As I started to look into the song, I found it was an Old English Carol about the downtrodden. Then, a new mate from England wrote me and said:

Merry in the Old English of this carol did not mean “Happy” it meant “Mighty” or “Powerful” (Think Robin Hood’s Merry Men – They weren’t happy because they were wearing tights… you know… they were a powerful fighting unit) The word “Rest” in the Old English also meant to invest a property in… or in other words to “make”.

So the first line of the carol in modern English would be “God Make You Mighty Gentlemen” Similarly the term “Merry Christmas” means have a “Powerful” Christmas. Kind of gives the phrase a whole new meaning doesn’t it?

Since then, I started to learn about the song “House of the Rising Son”. It turns out this, also, may be an Old English Traditional song (that USA blues guys adapted.) Coincidentally, it is also a song about the downtrodden. Both songs are about redemption… faith, hope and charity.

The video is a combination of man’s sins with God’s glory fading in and out.

LYRICS
Take a look at the sun, Son
Any mass you pass
Take a look at the Earth, girl
Watch it twirl

There’s curvature in spacetime for sure
Are you rotating round and round in the orbit you have found?

Rotational frame-drag
In you your spacetime sag
The plight of light slowing down
When opposing the going round and round

Rotational frame-dragging
All due to this spacetime thang

Rotational Frame-dragging Music Video.mp4

Rotational Frame-dragging.mp3

ABOUT THE SONG
Style: ExperiMental Music
Chords: E / A G
Recording: digital 1-track stereo

Frame-dragging is an effect on spacetime, predicted by Einstein’s general theory of relativity, that is due to non-static stationary distributions of mass–energy. A stationary field is one that is in a steady state, but the masses causing that field may be non-static, rotating for instance.

Rotational frame-dragging (the Lense–Thirring effect) appears in the general principle of relativity and similar theories in the vicinity of rotating massive objects. Under the Lense–Thirring effect, the frame of reference in which a clock ticks the fastest is one which is revolving around the object as viewed by a distant observer. This also means that light traveling in the direction of rotation of the object will move past the massive object faster than light moving against the rotation, as seen by a distant observer.

LYRICS
All the leaves have fallen
Have we already forgotten
Winter has yet to start
Yet, we feel cold at heart

The cold-hearted started
There’s no room in the inn
Ain’t that a sin?
The cold-hearted started
Why did you bother to come?
Go back to where you’re from!

The days are growing shorter
Cold nights for the squatter
Those that roam far from home
Are left to feel on their own

For those that try and try
Yet, others wish to die
Why condemn the tried?
You’ve tried and crucified

LYRICS
Step by step by step
Going up. Going down.
Work! The product of the force applied to move
(Is it work to groove?)
Work! Measure the height, right? Right!
Don’t be a dope and measure the slope
After all, moving forward is no work at all
Step by step by step
Going up. Going down.
Power! Am I dumb…
Power… the rate work is done?
Come on! Let’s have some
What? Watt! What? What!
Is it plain the plane requires less work…
Or, am I just being a jerk?
What if I’m to climb two steps at a time
Or better yet I get to go down
Is there any work to be found?
Can I get gravity to do it for me?
Let’s see…
Step by step by step
Going up. Going down.

Another giant hunk of space junk
Orbital debris — a mess due to humanity
Humans have a taste for space waste
Leaving us the curse of the universe

Europe and Russia announced their joint plan to colonize the moon for the purpose of mining. From the moon, man would launch humans further out into space. NASA recently announced its plans for manned missions to mars.

Space debris, also known as orbital debris, space junk and space waste, is the collection of manmade defunct objects in orbit around Earth. This includes spent rocket stages, old satellites and fragments from disintegration, erosion and collisions. Since orbits overlap with new spacecraft, debris may collide with operational spacecraft.

As of 2009 about 19,000 pieces of debris larger than 5 cm (2 in) are tracked, while an estimated 300,000 pieces larger than 1 cm exist….
