[Silence]
[Instrumental, Guitar, Piano, Organ, Synth, Bass, Percussion, Drums]
[Verse 1]
In a garden out of time
Where the stars and shadows rhyme
Something whispers through the leaves
Of the things that no one sees
Petals dark as velvet skies
Hold the secrets of our lives
Thorn’s tip a question posed
… the answer half-disclosed
[Pre-Chorus]
Is it magic? Is it fate?
Is it something we create?
When the midnight breezes blow
There’s a truth we almost know
[Chorus]
A mystic flower
(Of strange power)
… a rare rose
In the throes
(Of “who knows?)
Spirits arose
(In our hour)
Of freewill
(Freed will… until….)
[Verse 2]
Silver moonlight on the ground
Ancient voices all around
Each petal seems to hold
A forgotten story told
Was it planted long ago?
Does it bloom where wild winds blow?
Does it choose the hearts it knows?
Who can say where magic grows?
[Pre-Chorus]
Is it heaven? Is it hell?
Only time will ever tell
When the fragile petals close
What becomes of the rare rose?
[Chorus]
A mystic flower
(Of strange power)
… a rare rose
In the throes
(Of “who knows?)
Spirits arose
(In our hour)
Of freewill
(Freed will… until….)
[Bridge]
Free to wander, free to choose
Free to win and free to lose
On the road that we embrace
Leaves its mark upon this place
But the freedom that we claim
Can become another chain
Will we bloom or will we close?
Who decides the fate of the rose?
[Chorus]
A mystic flower
(Of strange power)
… a rare rose
In the throes
(Of “who knows?)
Spirits arose
(In our hour)
Of freewill
(Freed will… until….)
[Final Chorus]
A mystic flower
(Of strange power)
… a rare rose
As darkness grows
(The question flows)
… a rare rose
Spirits arose
(In our hour)
Of freewill
(Freed will… until….)
A mystic flower
(What will it show?)
A choice, a power
(Which way will we go?)
In the throes
(Of “who knows?”)
… a rare rose
[Outro]
Petal by petal
(The mystery grows)
Whispering softly
(What nobody knows)
Freewill…
(Freed will…)
Until…
(Until…)
The garden sleeps
The midnight blows
And somewhere in the shadows…
Blooms the rare rose.
