LYRICS
Have you heard of “no brainer”
This no brainer is a strainer
Scratchin’ my head
Over what he said
Living in delusion
Lively up yourself, don’t be no dread now
Beating on a horse already dead now
Seems to be a lack of marrow
’cause the cavity is too narrow
Solid bone from ear-to-ear
Lack of gray matter I do fear

LYRICS
Do you hear what I hear?
What we need here
… is a superman
More powerful than a loco’s motive
Able to stop a speeding bull$hit
I hear what we need here is a superman
Up, up and away
Here we go
What do you say
Do you know?
Nothing to fear
Grasp the cape of superman
Someway, somehow
What we need now
… is a superman
Look up in the sky
No need to ask why
Not fowl nor fuselage
At large
… superman

Would you like to command the Space Force?
Of course,
The forces at play in space
Poof! Gone without a trace
Zero gravity. Are you getting me?
Any notion of an object in motion
Lack-of-friction diction?
As a matter of fact,
Who ya gonna attack?
And, who’s got your back
Depending which way you face
In space

Encroaching are location

I don't know why you treated me so bad
Think about the things we could have had
Love is emotion that I can't forget
My sweet sixteen I will never regret

Forever waving
Over the saving
Red, white and blue
And, black and blue, too
Now, whatcha gonna due/do?
Let hatred, greed… disguised as need
Stifle you?
When those in your view
Chose to lose
Silence you
Racist, fascist, nationalist
Can’t you see
Let them be
Evident as a “failed”
Where they lie the die experiment
Where they die they lie

Dung beetle and her feces
Feasting on the parasite species

Mining minds
What’s mankind’s yield

Avoiding kinds

Out standing

What lies between your eyes
Should come as no surprise
Vicious venomous lies
Soon to realize
Vicious venomous lies

Sooner or later the investigator

Bound to be found

What slips between your lips
Is hard to come to grips
Vicious venomous lies
Soon to realize
Vicious venomous lies

What kind of mind is found
Embedded headed bound
Vicious venomous lies
Soon to realize
Vicious venomous lies

LYRICS
Don’t know if I can put to tune
All of (your) life’s ruin
But it’s coming to me
You help me see
What it means to be

Wont’ forget:
Cherish every moment
Won’t be long
’til it’s gone
Won’t regret
A single moment
Just as long
As I write your song
For you to listen to
Help ease the pain
For yours and you, too
Help staying sane

Don’t know if I can put to tune
All of (your) life’s ruin
But it’s coming to me
You help me see
What it means to be

Written at the corner of High and Market Streets in Chester County, West Chester, PA, after two sisters approached me with a request. The one’s son had committed suicide a month prior. Could I play something for him… he liked Led Zeppelin. So, I played a couple Zeppelin songs:

“Throw me a line; If I reach it in time; I’ll meet you up there; Where the path runs straight And high”

“No, cryin’ won’t help you, prayin’ won’t do you no good… All last night sat on the levee and moaned… Thinkin’ ’bout my baby and my happy home”

When I finished, they were both crying. Then they asked, “Can I hug you?” After they left, I wrote this song for her son, Tommy.

LYRICS
If it makes the kids dance
Ya know it stands a chance
If it makes their mama move
Ya know you’re in the groove

If you’re waiting for God-given
When you’re already in heaven
Might be time to explore
Getting out a ‘lil more

Seeing the arms reaching
Knowing they want more
The child’s smile’s teaching
More than I knew before

If they stop you to interrupt
They must know what’s up
Can’t help nut show their feeling
Over what you’re dealing
