LYRICS
With the stroke of a brush, you paint a picture
Of an image in your mind’s eye that is pure
With the stroke of a brush, you paint a picture
By a steady hand… true and sure
With the stroke of charcoal you sketch a picture
Of a picture in you mind’s eye that is clear
To stroke the guitar is a pleasure
Create a picture for all to hear
The artist is a shapeshifter
Soul soothing uplifter
Sculpting scenes ’til emotions intension [sic]
Belief suspension

LYRICS
A snake charming hippie with his hair cut long
Tried to claim he knew the song
Couldn’t really help being wrong
’cause I make them up as I go along
All of us in an extemporaneous
Experiment
I think he got what I meant

A voodoo princess said she can’t miss this
As we stood, staring over the precipice
An impromptu voodoo rendezvous
In the groove move prove the hypothesis
(can’t miss this precipice)
All of us in an extemporaneous
Experiment
I think she got what I meant

An angel of mercy appeared in the choir
As trumpets rang out for the town crier
Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Hear Ye! — royal decree
You create heaven on Earth, if you desire
All of us in an extemporaneous
Experiment
I think he got what I meant

bookmark_borderThe Man

LYRICS
Watching civilization turn to was
The Man want to live free
Without the right of responsibility
Not own-up to his society
Waiting for all to fall… inevitably
The Man rides off into battle
Leaving a bride in need of a rattle
It’s hard to ride high in the saddle
Knowing no one ever wins at war
For sure… no more… no never ever more
When The Man returns from battle
There are no tales to tattle
Now his time stops his clocks
Shoes and socks horizontal in a box

LYRICS
Your teddy bear
Is coming apart at the seams
More than I can bear
Watching you unravel at the seems
See what childhood dreams mean
When you are the queen of the scene
See what childhood dreams mean
When you get to know the star of the show
Let’s make those dreams come true for you
A stitch in time saves yours and mine
Sowing up the seams, sowing up the seems…
Until we’ve restored childhood dreams
With teddy bear we’ll share a new heart
Cinnamon candy comes in handy for a start
Sowing up the seams, sowing up the seems…
Until we’ve restored childhood dreams
Your special teddy bear we can repair
We can fix any rip or any tear
Sowing up the seams, sowing up the seems…
Until we’ve restored childhood dreams
None the worse for the wear
Love,
Your Teddy Bear

LYRICS
Lord, they say my days are numbered
Though I love each and every as my own
I must admit some are more preferred
From my heart and to the bone:
Thank you for spending a beautiful day
Wouldn’t rather have spent it any other way

On the days I have to walk this Earth
Try to carry my soul from my day of birth
Doing my best to the day I rest
For the day sacrificed to the quest:
Thank you for spending it this way
Wouldn’t rather have spent it any other day

Yes, thank you for this beautiful day
Sure glad you didn’t save it for a rainy day
Really, thank you! Wouldn’t want it any other way
So, I pray, and I pray:
Thank you for spending a beautiful day
Wouldn’t rather have spent it any other way

LYRICS
The music’s on the pier
The time is growing near
Check? Check! Double check… soundcheck
Backstage pass in the grass
Scent of Mother Nature fills the air
It’s everywhere
All to the festival
Say, “Holiday!”
(All in all festival)
They’ll show you the ways to the best of days
When the band starts to play
Your troubles melt away
All the kids having fun watching girls dancing in the sun
Raise your hand if you understand
Raise your hand! Be counted
Raise your hand! Be heard
Raise your hand! Be anointed
Raise your hand! Spread the word
1, 2, 3 for glory
Aware on the Delaware
What did Delaware?
A New Jersey

LYRICS
Though the power of thunder is very frightening
A sour comparison to the bolt of lightning
Drop and roll! You’re on fire!
Rock and roll! You’re desire!

In the time it takes for the sound to roll ’round
I’ll be found belly-up on the ground
You’re deadly. A true knockout
Storming beauty… what nature’s about
Your biology as meteorology

1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi, 3 Mississippi, 4 Mississippi, 5 Mississippi, 6 Mississippi
1 mile all the while I die
1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi, 3 Mississippi, 4 Mississippi, 5 Mississippi, 6 Mississippi
Lordy me! More in the package than meets the eye
Iceberg tip… let ‘er rip

LYRICS
If this ain’t is, I don’t know what is
Cotton-pickin’ time we mind our biz
The fruit rusted on the vine
The root rotted… less than fine

The fountain of youth don’t know to flow
Wonderin’ where all the water did go
The fruit rusted on the vine
The root rotted… less than fine

Not enough is and too much was
Was the problem puzzling us
The fruit rusted on the vine
The root rotted… less than fine

The question of when does depend
When we all end The End

LYRICS
Kingdom Come is coming
Kingdom comes when we’re undone
Kingdom Come, come
We are calling
The End of Days
Will change our ways
How the word plays

Promised Land is landing
Due to lack of understanding
Too damned demanding
We are calling
The End of Days
Will change our ways
How the word plays

Could it even be heaven
May be time to start believin’
Kingdom Come, come again
Soon we’re leaving
The End of Days
Will change our ways
How the word plays

Ahhh…..

LYRICS
In the morning
The sun is rising
What’s surprising
You find it boring
The life you excite
Excites life

Noon drams nigh
The sun is high
Wonder why
You don’t try
The life you excite
Excites life

In the evening
The sun is setting
What’s upsetting
You find it boring
The life you excite
Excites life

The dark of night
Need insight
Be the light
Shinning bright
The life you excite
Excites life

LYRICS
You’re getting warm
The situation’s volatile
Lesson to learn
Weather’s getting hostile
Sure is a fine line
To define the shoreline
And, the air we share
Who knows what’s in there?

You’re getting warmer
Didn’t wanna alarm ya
Make the same mistake
Warm until we bake

Atmosphere’s
So think it can smear
A sea change wish
Less plastic then fish

You’re what’s left of fine
Together let’s make time
Aware that we’re both there
To mend the disrepair

ABOUT THE SONG
This song is about the increased volatility in weather causing extreme weather events.

We are not saying that the Earth’s temperature is just going to rise. In general, as energy is added to a system, the fluctuations in the system increase. So, we expect more storms, more droughts, more wildfires, more floods, more fluctuations of all kinds. What we are saying is that weather conditions will become more volatile due to the impact of humans — Brouse & Mukherjee

The song was also inspired by current events including:

LYRICS
In the beginning
Could the Big Bang
Be heard around the world?
I’ve been told
Sound doesn’t travel in space
Sound doesn’t race through space
So, if so…
At what pace
’cause if there is no sound and no one around
How big can a bang be?
Answer’s troublin’ me
Eluding Man’s history
How big of a bang can it be?

LYRICS
I overheard
It’s a record
Too much sun
Reigns on our fun
When it’s too hot
We can not
This record heat
Is beat
…2,3,4
How much more?

What we got
Is too hot
Getting difficult to endure
Any more temperature
Did you see the mercury
Going up in history
Going down! It’s misery
Absurd record
Invoke heatstroke
Add the absurdity of the humidity
Think you can sweat it?
Forget it!
Can’t compete with record heat
Na ugh-uh na uh-uh
No, can’t compete with the record heat
Na ugh-uh na uh-uh

LYRICS
Am I all alone?
Prone to ozone
Hold the phone…
I’m not alone
Don’t breathe
Grieve
Only way to relieve
don’t breathe!
Hold your breath
’till you turn blue
Hold your breath
It’s all you can do
Tropospheric
Sick, sick, sick
No singing songs
Damage the lungs
Damage prolongs
Swan song sung
In the “Ohh!” zone

Ohh-zone.mp3

ABOUT THE SONG
Q: Do you know what are two of the most dangerous exposures for children and the elderly?
A: Fresh air and sunshine

On days like today, do not go out and play. The sun can damage your skin and cause cancer.

Sunshine is also part of a deadly reaction.  When combined with heat and volatile gases, ultraviolet light causes a deadly reaction by creating  tropospheric ozone.

The dangerous ozone (O3) is created when vehicle (and other) exhaust is not completely combusted. Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) in the exhaust react to temperature and sunlight creating tropospheric ozone (O3).

The ozone in the air can cause permanent damage to your respiratory and immune systems.
