LYRICS
On Tuesday evenings — a get together
Where I play in a rock-and-roll band
It’s inevitable one way or another
Gonna be a party of the grand stand

Meet up at the local pub
Make the girls shake their hips
After the show, embrace lips in lips
Been hit — the music club

God! I think I’m seeing stars
God! I think I’m hearing stars
(Yeah, yeah, yeah)

LYRICS
If I get to the point
Where I’m no use to society
Please take pity
Release Mother of my burden

Life’s worth living
As long as I’m giving
Living in a luxury sweet

When I get to heaven
There’ll be plenty of work worth doing
So as long as my love is flowing
I want to keep on going

[grunt]
Don’t think forever a working grunt
’cause you’re working your way right to the front
If you think there’s enough room in heaven for everyone
Think again
But, with your heart and passion
You’ll be all the fashion walkin’ in

LYRICS
’cause there’s been more than one path beaten to heaven
Of your life is your lesson
There’s been more than one song sung
Consider your life just beginnin’

Foreboding sky approached
Clouds burst open like a water balloon
Soon the river rises
A baptism cleansing you

Don’t want to sell it
Don’t want to take it
A baptism will break ya
Of that habit

Bringing on the casting out of your demon

Cloud burst quench your thirst for salvation
Revitalization of imagination
Realization: your civilization

LYRICS
The rat
Wields the bat
And, thinks that’s that

Well, this cat is resilient
And, he doesn’t take can’t, don’t or won’t

The rat
Wields the bat
And, thinks that’s that
You’ve got to awake
You can’t just take, take, take

ABOUT
Capo 2
Played with a 5-string guitar (no G-string)
Keep index finger on A-5 string C# (for the most part)
F# variations with a beating beat

Written and recorded July 9, 2012 outside the Whitpain Township Police Department, Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. The song is about a dangerous mental illness that some people in authority develop — the militant attitude. On two separate occasions Whitpain Township Police officers sent me to the hospital, not to mention a host of other atrocities. In neither incident was I charged with a crime. Why do some people get pleasure from inflicting pain?

I thought I would show you what I was talking about,
So, here it is kid….

You don’t want it all,
But, you don’t want it all,
To pass you by,
bye-bye.

Music is not about telling everyone else how you feel.
Music is about helping everyone else feel the way you feel.

Have you no sense of intimacy?

Music is about helping everyone feel what you are saying.

Do you remember when,
You asked me why all the Crayon’s,
In the Crayon box,
Looked the same as you?

After all,
Camouflage is a weird concept in space.

After all,
I’m just a person trying to express myself.
Why would you want to step on that?

Do you ever look outside of your self?
Do you ever look outside yourself?

It’s not that I’m the sickest puppy,
In the litter.

How do I know?
I looked in your blindspot.

What happens when you wait,
Until someone can’t wait,
To go to the bathroom?

Shit happens.

What if there was so much noise,
That nobody could hear my song?

Sometimes noise is a good camouflage.
Sometimes it is not.

I’m not that interested in how you fit into the game…
Rather, that you are a game piece.

Where do all those anarchists go?
That bookstore on South Street?

Oh, yes,
The Wooden Shoe.

Can you tell a Fox,
He swells like his own hole?

Ask Rupert Murdoch.

Have you no sense,
Of intimacy?

It’s funny,
When you try to stop,
A laughing-box from laughing.

Kleenex,
Or, tissue,
Who cares?
Will God bless you?

Doy you,
Yourself,
Know a genius,
When you look one,
In the I?

There are only so many people,
That hold a guitar…
Or, magnifying glass.

Chasing the string of a balloon.

There aren’t that many fish,
That can swim in the sea.
Shall I throw you back?

Just bring it on
Bring on the sun
The light
The warmth
Insight
Depth and breadth

The night’s too long and cold
Just have hope and faith
I’m told

Lord, bring on the sun
Darkness undone
Lord, bring on the sun
Darkness undone

Lord, it’s here
I hear it’s here
In fact,
I feel it on my back
