LYRICS
I get so excited when I think it might
Snow Christmas night
And, if I really believe
Maybe Christmas eve

I get so excited when I think we might
Make Hanukkah bright
Let the light relieve
For eight days and a night

I get so excited when I think we might
Get together… unite!
All religions of The Book
Take on the peace look

ABOUT THE SONG
Chords — A E7sus4 C#m7 Aadd9 C#dim

Written and recorded December 9, 2012 in Chester County, PA. The song is intended to bring people of every religion together. After all, Jews, Christians and Muslims all believe in the same God.

Why Don’t Christian’s Celebrate Hanukkah?

And she (virgin Mary) who guarded her chastity: We breathed into her, and We made her and her son a sign for all that exists.
— Chapter Anbiya, verse 91. Holy Koran

And indeed We gave Moses the Scripture, that they may be guided. And We made the son of Mary and his mother as a sign, and We gave them refuge on a high ground, a place of rest, security and flowing streams. And verily this your religion is one religion, and I am your Lord, so fear Me. But they have broken their religion among them into sects.
— Chapter 23 verses 49 50, 52, 53 – Koran

LYRICS
I wish I could shop until I drop
Alas, there’s nothing I can do
I get the shopping blues

Wish I could get that “best price” pop
Get a rush like a bunny… hop, hop, hop
Alas, there’s nothing I can do
I get the shopping blues

No pause to contemplate the (environmental) flop
My Christmas wish — stop, stop, stop

LYRICS
Very thankful you gave us the day
And, I’d be more than happy to do it again
Thankful to make it all this way
And, I’d be more than happy to do it again

An opportunity of a lifetime
A gift of time that I can call mine

Quite thankful for the day and the night
And, I’d be more than happy to do it again
Thankful for the might of your light
And, I’d be more than happy to do it again

An experience of a lifetime
An existence that’s more than fine

Oh, Well! Unplugged 2014 Ice Storm.mp3

LYRICS
So, is it getting…
Getting hard to tell,
If we’re livin’…
Livin’ in hell?
Oh, well,
Oh, well,
I feel swell.

Chorus:
Oh, well…
Oh, well,
Oooooh, well,
I’m feeling swell.

And, you can’t…
Can’t stand the smell,
Yeah,
That part’s easy to tell,
Oh, well.
Oh, well.
I feel swell.

It obvious,
Obvious we fell, fell, fell,
We fell,
Oh, well.
Oh, well.
I feel swell.

They’re trying to sell, sell, sell,
Trying to sell the closing bell,
Oh, well.
Oh, well.
I feel swell.

So, if you’re feeling…
Feeling swell,
Come on! Let out a yell,
“I feel swell!”
“I’m feel swell,
Oh, well,
I’m feel swell.”

LYRICS
What? Are you living in a fog?
The children’s eyes pop through the mist
Try to start living with your head out of the clouds

Your vision — unclog
No opportunity missed
Its’ time to start screaming THE TRUTH loud out loud

Writing the Lyrics for *In A Fog* at Ocean City, NJ

ABOUT THIS SONG
Capo 2
E / A / G

Written and recorded on July 6, 2012 in Ocean City, New Jersey. It was the eighth day of heat wave… even the beach was brutal. Then, at about 5PM, this strange fog started rolling in. As I was writing the music, I could see the eyes of children popping out of the mist. It made me think how great it is that kids don’t live in a fog… with their heads in the clouds.

LYRICS
Have you ever wondered
If there’s anyone who cares
No need to ponder
That’s why I’m making you aware

Thanks for making me aware that you’re there
For now, the time on Earth we share
You don’t need to feel alone
We occupy the same home
As well as, the closest star
Just reach out… I’m there

Perhaps when you block-out ugly
You inhibit your ability to see?
A fault by default
Clearly on your part

Perhaps when you block-out ugly
You inhibit your ability to see?
If you think you can’t take it
It’s time to make it
Real

Where goes your nightmare
Where goes thee
Lost sole. Blank stare
Where goes your nightmare?
Do you wanna be?
Where goes your nightmare?
Dare go there

LYRICS
Why go to where the gray turns black
A place where there is no turning back
Move it on up ’cause the tide’s coming in
A whole new cycle getting ready to begin

The pages blowing in the wind
No time for Man to unwind
Rather make a pact to adapt
Wind-up. Then, we’re apt
To buoy a beginning
Of a brand new happening

Where the hydrogen and oxygen separate
The sea meets the sky
Where the clouds part you can start
To see the light
And, you just might
Put up a fight
For it’s the struggle to survive
That keeps us alive

LYRICS
Where the sky parts from the see
The ocean waves goodbye
There’s a sigh in the air
A sigh in the error

Why not choose what’s best for humanity
Instead of just for you or me
Overthrow the overlords
Of disparity

With the vision of the Viking
No one is best suited to be king
With the vision of Charlemagne
Try to alleviate suffering and pain

No need to cross an expansive sea
To contemplate the fate of society
No need for flight from the storm
No need for blight, nor for harm

LYRICS
It’s tough… it’s so tough moving up
The food chain
At the very least, you just might get eaten
By a slightly larger beast

It’s tough… it’s so tough moving up
The food chain
Revolution of evolution
(Wonder) who will remain?

It’s tough… it’s so tough moving up
