LYRICS
What’s your take on the take?
What do you make
Of your perspective?

Going reflective….

What’s your attitude on attitude
When it comes to people who are rude
Well, don’t get stuck in that rut
Come on! Give it from the gut

Hey! Hey! Hey!
We’re over half-way
Hey! Hey! Hey!
More than half of the way

’till our cup runneth over
’till our glass is full
’till there is no null… no, no null at all

Hey! Hey! Hey!
We’re over half-way
Hey! Hey! Hey!
More than half of the way

Do you have longitude
Do you have latitude
Well, don’t get stuck in that rut
(Adjusted attitude)
Come on! Give it from the gut

Hey! Hey! Hey!
We’re over half-way
Hey! Hey! Hey!
More than half of the way

Oh, Well! Unplugged 2014 Ice Storm.mp3

LYRICS
So, is it getting…
Getting hard to tell,
If we’re livin’…
Livin’ in hell?
Oh, well,
Oh, well,
I feel swell.

Chorus:
Oh, well…
Oh, well,
Oooooh, well,
I’m feeling swell.

And, you can’t…
Can’t stand the smell,
Yeah,
That part’s easy to tell,
Oh, well.
Oh, well.
I feel swell.

It obvious,
Obvious we fell, fell, fell,
We fell,
Oh, well.
Oh, well.
I feel swell.

They’re trying to sell, sell, sell,
Trying to sell the closing bell,
Oh, well.
Oh, well.
I feel swell.

So, if you’re feeling…
Feeling swell,
Come on! Let out a yell,
“I feel swell!”
“I’m feel swell,
Oh, well,
I’m feel swell.”

LYRICS
You can part
You can part
When you’re glowing in the heart

You can part any sea
Turn water to wine
Create a feast for the hungry to dine
(Loaves and fish dish)

The miracles you’ll spark
When you’re glowing in the heart
The hearts you’ll start
When you’re glowing in the dark

Emotional smarts
Spiritual larks
Take flight
Light the night

LYRICS
When you’ve got to pray
What do you sayhttp://idea.membrane.com/songwriter/wp-admin/post.php?post=2068&action=edit
Ask for assistance?
An ass that’s insistent?

Hey, God! What can I do for you today?
God, I pray and I pray there’s a way
I understand you’re short on hands
So, before I pass away
What can I do for you today?

LYRICS
Transposing letters to numbers
Transposing the numbers into my name
While intelligence slumbers
It’s turned into a mental game

Don’t give up
Half empty or half full is your cup?
Don’t give up

When they try to give you the run-around
You know the answer can be found
No matter the resistance
Win them over with persistence
Don’t give up

Put you on hold ’till you grow mold
Ask you to please, please, please wait
Nooooo… don’t drop the line yet another time
We shall overcome without hate

Don’t give up
Half empty or half full is your cup?
Don’t give up

Written and recorded on August 22, 2012 in West Chester, Pennsylvania. It is based on studies that show positive thinking leads to a positive outcome:

Positive thinking: Reduce stress by eliminating negative self-talk
Positive thinking helps with stress management and can even improve your health.
By Mayo Clinic staff

Is your glass half-empty or half-full? How you answer this age-old question about positive thinking may reflect your outlook on life, your attitude toward yourself, and whether you’re optimistic or pessimistic — and it may even affect your health.

Indeed, some studies show that personality traits like optimism and pessimism can affect many areas of your health and well-being. The positive thinking that typically comes with optimism is a key part of effective stress management. And effective stress management is associated with many health benefits. If you tend to be pessimistic, don’t despair — you can learn positive thinking skills.

You missed,
Calling me a pessimist,
For I opt,
To be an optimist,
But, that doesn’t mean,
I should close my eyes,
To the mean scene.
Nooooo…
I should scrutinize,
Realize,
And, materialize.

Create the love,
With a kid’s glove,
Gentle,
On the mental,
As we progress,
Though our regression,
Success,
Instead of depression.

Though it makes no sense,
The human presence,
Wants to go that way,
It hasn’t been a matter,
Of what I say,
I can point to the evidence,
Showing them the tatter…
But, it doesn’t seem to matter!

It’s easy now,
To see,
What we want to be.
Somehow…
I’ve found,
We got turned around.

On closer inspection,
Does anyone notice,
We’re headed,
In the wrong direction?

On introspection,
Is our justice,
What’s dreaded,
We just lack the diction?

We’re not apt,
To adapt,
Quick enough,
I’m not saying, “Tough!”
Rather,
Let’s get it together,
So, we don’t sacrifice,
Innocence.

We may choose,
For us to lose,
But, should we impose,
Our view,
On those,
Who are without blame?
I’m asking you…
’cause that’d be a shame.
