LYRICS
Music — the stress reliever
Sing along… become a believer
La, la, la, ahh

It can turn a grey sky blue
It’s one of the best things for you
I’m tellin’ ya it’s a cure
An elixir for sure

Music — the stress reliever
Hum along… become a believer
Hmmm, hmmm

Music — the stress reliever
Whistle along… become a believer
(whistling)

LYRICS
I hear strange noises outside my door
Shall I crack and peek… see what’s in store?
Pique my curiosity
I’ve just gotta see

On the peak of a precipice
A recipe for prevalence
Of intelligence
The need to know
Know not a single no
Untangle the knot in your mind
Then it’ll surface… how to be kind

LYRICS
There’s a man over there
Can’t help but stare
Most people aren’t aware

Time to call the cows in
Time to call them home
Time the birds start singin’
Time all are welcome

The man had problems
To pain will he succumb
Ah man, is society that dumb
How come?

LYRICS
In the Fall, before the leaves fall
Hard to believe it’s the color of dying
All in all, could be a good call
Relieves and re-lives in the Spring
Funny thing… once you gain understanding
The color of the foliage and old age
Takes on a whole new meaning

Orange, red, golden brown
Flying in the wind… falling down
Aren’t you dancing with delight
In the Autumn twilight

Starlight, star bright… first star I see tonight
Or are you a planet
Venus, Mercury or Mars?
Thought jars… light traveled so far

Orange, red, golden brown
Flying in the wind… falling down
Aren’t you dancing with delight
In the Autumn twilight

LYRICS
French police warn about scary clowns
Earlier this month in the US, there were several reports of scary clowns in California, Florida …

In France, police say groups are organising online to track down the clowns and they’re taking the matter very seriously. “Anyone, aggressive clowns or clown hunters, found in possession of a weapon in a public place will be arrested and can be held in police custody,” said a police statement. They’ve urged the public to stop spreading rumours online and have issued information on how to send an alert about an aggressive clown.
— BBC

Aggressive clown or clown hunter
You’re going down
Stumble blunder
Be the brunt of the clown

In France, the latest dance
Werewolves Of London
London Bridge undone
Falling down
The brunt of the clown

London bridge is falling down
My fair lady
That clown looks shady
I ain’t clowin’ around

LYRICS
Jonah in an ocean swale
Swallowed by a giant whale
Sound fishy to you
Yeah… me, too

“Just spit him out!”

It’s been three long days
And three long nights
I’ve realized my ways
When it’s right to fight

Flee… no not me!
Just spit me free

Can’t flee from the presence of the Lord

Can’t flee from the essence of the Lord

No sense unless in the presence of the Lord

Fishtales.mp3

Commanded by God to go to the city of Nineveh to prophesy against it “for their great wickedness is come up before me,” Jonah instead seeks to flee from “the presence of the Lord” by going to Jaffa and sailing to Tarshish, which, geographically, is in the opposite direction. A huge storm arises and the sailors, realizing this is no ordinary storm, cast lots and discover that Jonah is to blame. Jonah admits this and states that if he is thrown overboard, the storm will cease. The sailors try to dump as much cargo as possible before giving up, but feel forced to throw him overboard, at which point the sea calms. The sailors then offer sacrifices to God. Jonah is miraculously saved by being swallowed by a large fish where he spends three days and three nights. While in the great fish, Jonah prays to God in his affliction and commits to thanksgiving and to paying what he has vowed. God commands the fish to spew Jonah out.

Quoted in all Religions Of The Book

Jonah, Jonas or Younis (Hebrew: יוֹנָה, Modern Yona Tiberian Yônā ; dove; Arabic: يونس‎ Yūnus, Yūnis or يونان Yūnān ; Latin: Ionas) is the name given in the Hebrew Bible (Tanakh/Old Testament) to a prophet of the northern kingdom of Israel in about the 8th century BC. He is the eponymous central character in the Book of Jonah, famous for being swallowed by a fish or a whale, depending on translation. The Biblical story of Jonah is repeated, with a few notable differences, in the Qur’an.

LYRICS
Is your blonde hair for real
Do you do it just for appeal
Or is it more a jacket
To fit the hypocrite

Come on what’s the deal
Tell us how you really feel
Let’s get out of the racket
Into a better fit

Come from there… we’ll fly away
To a better day… don’t care what people say

Do you want fate to seal
What could be your final appeal
Or is it time to ratchet
The notch up a bit

LYRICS
Everything I read has got to be true
Everything I see has got to be true
How could I ever think of something new
How could I ever think of anything knew

The gossip factory
Taking over society

Whisper down the lane it’s all the same
Sister, don’t you think it’s really lame
How could you… knowing what you knew
Down and dirty’s the way you do

The gossip factory
Taking over society

Proverbs 6:16-19
Haughty eyes
Tongue that lies
Blood of innocent
Wicked hearts descent
Flight to evilness
To bear false witness
Anyone who so’s, sows…

LYRICS
If you’ve got the stranger-danger
The task — wear the mask

Chorus
Sit on back and relax
Once you’re behind the mask
Let it bask
Behind the mask

If you are a too shy guy
Just put on the mask
As in a Halloween scene
In your role you’re cast

Chorus

Inside out without a doubt
Just put on the mask
Iron Man the man of irony
The character they see

Chorus

Super Matt can fly through the sky
Once behind the mask
Nothing is too hard if you try
Power of the mask

Chorus

You can be your own superhero
Just create a mask
Go to 160 (MPH) from zero
Once behind the mask

Chorus

Written and recorded in West Chester, Chester County, Pennsylvania, USA

I started writing the song on a Saturday while sitting on the wall of the old courthouse. A youngster came up to the statue wearing an Iron Man costume. When I asked him what the costume was, he wouldn’t reply. His mother said, “He has stranger danger.” So, I started thinking about the power of wearing a mask. The next day I was finishing the song and a youngster came up to the statue wearing a mask and a cape with a big “M” on it. I asked him what the costume was, and he was too shy to reply. His father said, “Super Matt. His name is Mathew.” Then, he picked his son up over his head and started flying him around. Let your true nature be seen when you’re behind a mask.

And anything of that ilk
If you throw-up from contempt
Bend away from hellbent

It’s a cinch doing our part

A pretty penny
Doesn’t have to be this tough

My Grandma and your Grandma
Are sitting by the fire
Wondering why we don’t fan the flames higher
(… just a little higher)

And I pride myself on not being too proud
Not to quite and not too loud

My Grandpa and your Grandma
Are sitting ever higher
Wondering why we don’t and aspire
(… just a little higher)

And I try myself to be the best I can
