LYRICS
Adrift in your drought
Adrift in your sea (see) of doubt

Afloat in a boat
Can you see in the sea
There’s nothing for you to drink
So what do you think
You will do?

Saltwater all about
But you’re in your drought
’cause you can’t think of what to drink
That won’t put you at risk

Like the cops will frisk
Thinking they’re at risk
There’s nothing to be found
There’s nothing around
Just sea as far as the eye (I) can see
Adrift in a drought
No doubt

Adrift in your drought
Your sea of doubt
Adrift in your doubt
See of drought

Maybe a brisk yanking about
Is what you need
Maybe you’ll concede
That you’re up $hit crick
Without a paddle
It’s no cosmic riddle
No time to diddle
No time to daddle
It’s time to paddle
Adrift in a drought
Beyond a doubt
Adrift in a drought
Beyond a doubt

Adrift in a drought
There’s no doubt
Self-doubt
Adrift in a drought
Self-doubt

LYRICS
After all is said and done
Looks like we’ve come undone
They think we’re choosing extinct

After all we’ve said is dumb
We’ve become the smoking gun
On the verge of the human purge

Chorus
They think we’re choosing extinct
On the verge of the human purge
When the traffic can no longer merge
We can be gone as quick as a blink

After all we did is gone
Too late to wonder what went wrong
They know we choose extinct

After all we’re dead and gone
Culmination of our swan song
The purge of the human splurge

Chorus

LYRICS
They say it’s not the fall that hurts
It’s really the sudden stop at the end
Time may heal all broken hearts
But a broken soul is hard to mend

So, I’m taking it all in just as long as I can
No time to wait and not too late to start
A strange trip — the free fall of man
Before the sudden stop of our heart

They say it’s in us all — the love
And the love we get is equal to the love we send
So, I’m sending in the message from above
Let’s get together before the stop at The End

LYRICS
Have you humans no self worth?
Living on a giant pile of filth
Just selfishness and greediness
Leads inevitably to worthlessness

Does the Pope poop in the woods
A bear Catholic… believing God is good
Can you see the trees through the forest
If one falls can it be heard by the rest

Have you humans all gone mad
Not even the lightest bit sad
Am I standing here all alone
Thinking it’s a shame to trash our own home?

LYRICS
The clouds are looking quite threatening
Obviously a storm approaching
Wouldn’t you have to say
The signs are as plain as day

Chorus
Dorthy why aren’t you in the fallout shelter
You ain’t in Kansas… more like Helter Skelter
In a land where you land at the bottom of the slide
Taking man’s best friend along for the ride
Toto, too? Total, too

The circulation of the wind
The severity of the blowin’
Storm tracker has it pinned
Storm warning’s been growin’
Wouldn’t ya have to say it’s as plain as day

ABOUT THE SONG

A song inspired by global warming and extreme weather events.

We are not saying that the Earth’s temperature is just going to rise. In general, as energy is added to a system, the fluctuations in the system increase. So, we expect more storms, more droughts, more wildfires, more floods, more fluctuations of all kinds. What we are saying is that weather conditions will become more volatile due to the impact of humans. (Extreme Weather Events)

LYRICS
Are we just scratching the surface
Or, are we already in too deep?

If we could only let the knowledge seep
Into our heart
Into our mind
Into our soul
Maybe we could cut down on the human toll
I don’t want to be the troll of your body
But it’s easy see
But if that’s what you’re calling me

Are we just scratching the surface
Are we in too deep

I believe the temperature is rising
It’s really not surprising
Not the slightest bit
Now it won’t quit
Need more proof
It’s going through the roof

The only problem… our race can’t adapt to living in space
’cause we trashed this place

LYRICS
Mother Nature is getting her act together
Looks like we’re in for some extreme weather
Better batten down the hatches
Check the locks and check the latches
The clouds foreshadowing doom
‘less corrective action is taken soon

Better of not fooling with Mother Nature
Just another man-made folly for sure
Amaze with a haze… the lines we blur
Bringing on the rapture is no cure
The clouds foreshadowing doom
‘less corrective action is taken soon

We had better think twice ’bout being nice
Skating on thin ice won’t suffice
Deadline is upon us… time to pay the price
Stork of midnight. Coach to pumpkin. Horses to mice.
The clouds foreshadowing doom
‘less corrective action is taken soon

LYRICS
Up in smoke
Ain’t no joke

Did you see the calamity
Of the puzzle monkey tree?
Oh, you know what’s puzzling me
Unseen inevitability

Up in smoke
Ain’t no joke

The way we spew our debris
Like we’re the champs of society
Coming back a little too fast
Gonna kick me in the ass

Up in smoke
Ain’t no joke

In the midst of demon fits
Gonna smash it all to bits
Kiss of death on our lips
Human induced apocalypse

Up in smoke
Ain’t no joke

ABOUT THE SONG
Chords
B E Am

A verse inspired by the wildfires in Chile burning in the forests of 1,000 old puzzle monkey trees. (At least the government of Chile recognizes it as the effects of human induced climate change.) Another verse is inspired by the ISIS destruction of ancient artifacts in Syria using sledgehammers and bulldozers. I guess you could say the song is about human induced destruction of everything.

Araucaria araucana — commonly called the monkey puzzle tree
The origin of the popular English language name ‘monkey puzzle’ derives from its early cultivation in Britain in about 1850, when the species was still very rare in gardens and not widely known. Sir William Molesworth, the proud owner of a young specimen at Pencarrow garden near Bodmin in Cornwall was showing it to a group of friends, one of them – the noted barrister and Benthamist Charles Austin remarked, “It would puzzle a monkey to climb that”. [Because it takes a 1,000 years for them to grow, young specimens are tiny.] As the species had no existing popular name, first ‘monkey puzzler’, then ‘monkey puzzle’ stuck. — Wikipedia

Death Defying Acts Part 2.mp3

LYRICS
Ozone in the air we’re breathing
It’s death defying!
Alone in perceiving
These acts are death defying?

More dangerous for us
Than tightrope walking
Or chainsaw juggling

The pathogens we are drinking
It’s death defying!
Alone in perceiving
These acts are death defying?

More dangerous for us
Than sword swallowing
Or cliff diving

The temperature we’re increasing
….
More dangerous for us
Than mine sweeping
Or racecar driving

The glaciers we’re melting
….
More dangerous for us
Than base jumping
Or atomic bombing

More dangerous for us?
There’s nothing more dangerous than us

Tales of chemtrails blowing hot air in the sails
Oh, no! GMO phobia phenomenon
You just go on and on and on

Yes, it’s freaking me out
How you know nothing about

I mean isn’t it obscene when you won’t give your kid a vaccine
You’re unaware modern healthcare is way better than fair
Beware! Your lack of B12 has left you bewildered
Wondered

You make a fuss about how business treats all of us
I’ll be damned. You don’t understand it’s from your demand
Won’t see clear that nuclear could be our savior
The fusion solution for our pollution

LYRICS
Why did the old lady swallow a spider
That wiggled and jiggled and tickled inside her
Can you conclude why spray sulfur at a high altitude
I don’t know why we swallowed the fly
Perhaps we’ll die

Manage a moment to ponder solar radiation management
I fear what we geo-engineer
May endanger all we hold dear
Better ask why we’re foggin’ up the sky
Perhaps we’ll die

Why did the old lady swallow the horse
Why did mankind maintain this course
Looks like we beat a dead horse to death
Wake up world we can’t take it with
No matter how you dread… in The End… the old lady’s dead

ABOUT THIS SONG
Chords
D7 D6 G
Interlude — C Am G

A song about Man coming up with crazy schemes in an attempt to mitigate global warming.

Schemes to tackle climate change could prove disastrous for billions of people, but might be required for the good of the planet, scientists say.

That is the conclusion of a new set of studies into what’s become known as geo-engineering.

This is the so far unproven science of intervening in the climate to bring down temperatures.

These projects work by, for example, shading the Earth from the Sun or soaking up carbon dioxide.

Ideas include aircraft spraying out sulphur particles at high altitude to mimic the cooling effect of volcanoes or using artificial “trees” to absorb CO2.

Long regarded as the most bizarre of all solutions for global warming, ideas for geo-engineering have come in for more scrutiny in recent years as international efforts to limit carbon emissions have failed. — BBC

I don’t know if we can go
Dashing through the snow
I don’t have a horse
By the way, I don’t have a sleigh

The way the climate’s changing
From human’s re-arranging
It will be par for the course
If we can’t get snow to lay

Hey, hey, hey
Ho, ho, ho
Don’t know
If we’ll have snow

Will dreams of a white Christmas
Start to fade away
Those days I sure will miss
Oh God hear us pray

Hey, hey, hey
Ho, ho, ho
Don’t know
If we’ll have snow

LYRICS
Would you consider me a loon
If I insist we’re living on the moon
Can’t I see that’s lunacy?
Yet we won’t believe in reality

The Earth’s getting hot, hot, hot
Before you know it, we’ll be not
It’s not surprising
The temperatures rising
Is all logic forgot?
What kind-of ticket have we bought

Time we take some giant steps
To our balance there are checks
Yup, giant steps are what we take
If we could only awake
Yup, giant steps are what we take
Leaps and bounds from the fake

LYRICS
If we could sound some sort-of siren
An alarm for attention
To the general population

“General Population reporting for duty, Sir.
From my naivety you may infer!”

If we could sound some sort-of siren
An alarm for attention
To the general population

Not on my leg using your urine
Not through some giant money siphon
More like firin’ up the horizon
The enlighten siren

Sirens of silence
Falling on deaf ears
Sirens of silence
Playing out our fears

If we could sound some sort-of siren
An alarm for attention
To the general population

Not the ice that’s crashing into the sea
Not the smog foggin’ up what I see
Not ozone in the wind a blowin’
Not ebola in the gut growin’
You’d think these would all make a fine sign
Nooooo… we pay no attention to the man behind the curtain
We’re taking the free trial of denial for certain

Sirens of silence
Falling on deaf ears
Sirens of silence
Playing out our fears

LYRICS
While under the attack of a hawk
I heard a bluejay say, “Squawk!”
As I looked around…
I found… something fishy… wishy-washy

The mirage of camouflage

All the while your style
Appearing perched on the edge of the ledge
Like you might jump at any moment
But, wait a minute!
You mean…
All the while before a blue-screen
I mean
All the while before a green-screen?

The mirage of camouflage

Gonna call your bluff
On crying “wolf”
Gonna chill your marrow
When you discover you’re really in peril
You’ve become sterile
So much for tomorrow
