LYRICS
No, you don’t look too fancy
Perfectly classy
For the occasion

Chorus
You can wear that look
Again and again
If over dressed
Thank God, it’s within

No, you don’t look too fancy
Stylishly sassy
For celebration

Chorus

No, you don’t look too fancy
Pleasant sight to see
Heavenly creation

LYRICS
When I believe there’s more
Spirit’s enable… endure

Flying ever higher
As lives transpire

At the root, the essence, the core
The soul’s the thread… spirits endure
Come on, root, the presence, folklore
The body soul’s bread… spirit’s blood pure

ON the route, transportation store
The sou’s the tread… spirits lure
There’s no doubt, exaltation, for sure
The body soul’s bread… spirit’s blood pure

bookmark_borderLearning How To Swim

LYRICS
If you’re afraid to choose ’cause you might lose
Go ahead and jump in
’cause you’re certain to lose if you don’t choose
Jump in and learn how to swim

It’s not that hard to figure out
You just relax and float about
Take a deep breath. Take a dive.
Take a glide to the sub side

The water said “you can tread on me”
Go ahead and jump in
The elementary backstroke is elementary. The free is free.
Jump in and learn how to swim

ABOUT THE SONG

This song is an analogy that uses the process of learning how to swim with your body to promote learning to swim with your soul. The video was shot through cacti as sort-of a mirror image of swimming in water.

bookmark_borderSee Sure

LYRICS
They set out for 3 hours
Sort-of short for seaborne tours
They set out for 3 hours
Ended up with a lifetime of horrors
Such is the fate (of Gilligan)
Such is the fate (of Mary Ann)

If I’m stranded on an island with you
Don’t know what I’d do
I’d leave that part up to you
Maybe distill a ‘lil gin
Then
Let the dancing begin
All the while playing our hearts away
Making beautiful music all night and day

Youth be gold. We’d never grow old.
Just for fun
Maybe distill a ‘lil rum
Maintaining a dance continuum

You’re as old as you feel
And, I am
Unconceal the real deal
Live life while you can

Naked. Swinging from trees.
Begging God we please

LYRICS
As sure as our lives are long
We’ve got to… got to get along
In numbers is our strength
Let’s get strong

There is right and wrong
Don’t let “Done Me Wrong” by your only song
Give flight to the might of right
And, it won’t be long
Let’s get strong

ABOUT THIS SONG
Capo 2
C / Am / Em
Em / G

Written and recorded on August 1, 2012 in West Chester, Pennsylvania.

Daniel — Guitar, Vocals

The song has to do with my ancestors, King Duncan of Scotland and the Armstrongs. One side of my family is related to King Duncan. He was murdered. The other side of my family cut down trees making it look like the forest was storming the castle in revenge of the murder (as described in Shakespeare’s Macbeth: Act V. Scene III.) The clan was named Armstrong and given a coat-of-arms symbolizing the event.

LYRICS
Taking the all in
The best that I can
Taking the all in
The best that you can

Taking the all in
No need of a place to begin
More like a sponge… near infinite points on the fringe

Taking the all in
No need of a place to end
More like a circle or cycle
Your future’s right ’round the bend

Taking the all in
The best that I can
Taking you all in
That best that we can
