LYRICS
Factor this
I am an *a* [A]
You I can see [C]
Between us is be [B]

Phenomena
Of the right angle

This ain’t rocket science
This is social science
Take care in how you engineer
Less you breed a realm of fear

No need to be obtuse
When you’re acute
No need to dish abuse
Be the angel
With wings of vector
Coming together
At the right angle
An erector of valor

Geo-not-just-me geometry

Though are views are parallel
We must bend to meet

Writing The Song Idea
Daniel Writing the Song *Idea* at Marsh Creek

LYRICS
Bang! Wow! Pop!
There’s another
And, another
Another

You hear
Idea
You here
Idea

We get together
Think up good thought
Can we get together
Why not?

Help save the world
We’ve helped to kill
Help build a mountain
Out of our mole hill
With a hallelujah refrain
Partaking in the idea guild

Bang! Wow! Pop!
There’s another
And, another
Another

Just off the top
Of my head
Formulate
Let it be said

Not the ordinary
Regurgitate
Investigate
An original idea
An encyclopedia of hope
With a slope
For the good
So we can hope to cope
So we’re apt to adapt
Not a rope
To choke

With a slant
Toward the planet

Dreaming of making love
Dreaming of making love all night

Rise and shine. Start the day.
Try n’ listen to what She’ll say
Man-you-factor of love
Great work. Great pay.

Producing throughout the day
Dreaming of making love all night
Dreaming of making love
Dreaming of making love all night

The pinnacle of human height
Dreaming of making love all night
Dreaming of making love
Dreaming of making love all night

Tilling souls with the fertilizer of love
There’s no need for gloves
As an artist creates beauty
Turning love into reality

Dreaming of making love all night

ABOUT THE SONG
This song was written and recorded in West Chester, Pennsylvania on April 21, 2012. It was inspired by a group of girls fundraising for the American Cancer Society. The true love expressed by youth gives hope. While I was working on the music and lyrics, I sat on a bench next to the youth. The above lyrics that are in quotes were taken from their conversations; however, I was still at a loss for a title. Then, I heard a voice say, “young love”.

LYRICS
You! Yes, you.
You’re on the verge of…
[And, I’m realizing
Your victimizing
Puts all on the verge…
We’re on the fringe of violence

Looks like I’ll have to pass you by (sigh!)

Sirens screaming
Distraction leaning
Toward anarchy
A cryin’ shame
We’re to blame
For not takin’ care of our own
Opportunity blown
We crush the lush
Then, try n’ hush
The harm…
Reason for alarm

ABOUT
Written and recorded in April 2012
The original idea came from feeling hatred from another as I watched them pass by in West Chester, PA. The more intelligent part was inspired from feeling love on the streets of Ambler, PA. The one line about taking care of our own is a protest to a Bruce Springsteen… because, we ain’t done a very good job of taking care of humans, have we?

LYRICS
(Special guest appearance by Toucan the Dog: guard dog growl)

The Gummi Bears are at a loss for words
But, they’d like to convey a message if they may?
They’re picking up swords

As we melt them, a lass,
They’re forming a mass (a giant mass)
Giant Gummi Bear goo
They’ll be rolling over you

Goo from every orifice
Goo from every pore
Gummi Bear all over you face
Gummi Bear, ’till you’re chokin’, “No more!”

LYRICS
I met a girl
(She) wanted a five second song
But, ya see, Jessi…
I’ve already written… there’s another Jessi
And, it’ll take too long
For me to fall for you

I met a girl
Andrea the atheist
She wanted to know my twist on this
“My God’s a lady
and, lately
She’s fed up feeding man”
Who bites the hand…
… of the one that feed ’em?

I met a girl called Lee Ann
And, man…
She changed the scene
With my tambourine
The Spirit shined ever brighter
On the streets of the wrong and righter (writer)

I met a girl
Jenny Roadside on the road’s side
She asked if I’d mind…
Could she play my guitar
When ya bring on the music, dance and sing
Brings mating of souls…
Everlasting

I met a gang of girls
Whose giggles and smiles
Changed the world
Like an army of angels
the moments making life special

Bringing The Love Along (Free .MP3 Music Download)

LYRICS
I’ve been sleeping with Mother Nature
In a state all natural
She keeps asking questions…
… with answers unsure

She wants to know
When I go…
… to sleep with Her for eternity
What I think I can bring

So, I’ve been coming to some realizations
“You can’t take it with you”
I ask, “What about money, jewels and land?”
She says, “Don’t you understand?
That’s the thing…
You can’t take it with you”

Then, she snuggled up and whispered in my ear,
“There is one thing you can take from here.
You can bring the love you create
To make music beyond Heaven’s Gate

The beauty of our new reality
Bring along the love

Bringing the love along for song

Get eatin’ by the machine?

No need to punish your ma
Do you know what I mean?
Bring out your do ra me fa
Chances are you’ll go far
Come clean from the obscene
Dance with a star
You know?
Shakin’ like tremolo
Moving in stereo

It’s inside of you
It’s all about you
It’s within and without)

If you’re lame
Life will never be the same

LYRICS
Imagine a giant cosmic cue stick… getting ready to break
Imagine the moon… as cue ball
*Farewell*
… is the order for order

Quick at a flick

A new birthday cake

The continental plate border

Expansion… thank God for gravity
(God’s gravity holding it together… like never)
Limiting the severity
Of the impact of the break on humanity

It would happen that quick

It could happen that quick
Like a thief in the night
Giving a whole new meaning
To the dawn’s day light

ABOUT THIS SONG
This song is about co-operation making beautiful music. The left side of my body plays the guitar. The right side of my body plays the keyboards. The vocals try to find middle ground that makes the whole greater than the sum of the parts.

LYRICS
Why not just say who you are
Is it really, really that hared?

Yes, once you go back that far
It becomes harder to find the word

A father’s daughter
Becomes the Maiden of St. Peter
Why they called her Dodo I don’t know

It really is that hard to say who you are
A piece from here. A piece from there.
Making up something unique

Is being unique to be a freak?

Why not just say who you are?
Have you ever even given thought
As in what you are not?

Are you really, really that far…?

I whisper to myself these thoughts
And, how it applies to the have’s and the have not’s

ABOUT THE SONG
Capo 1 Am / C add pinky to the 6th string 4th fret

Written on the boulders of Saint Peter’s Village in Pennsylvania. They say the giant boulders were pushed the furthest south by a proceeding glacier during the ice age. If you look through a birds-eye-view, you can see rocks that resemble huge dinosaur pieces.

LYRICS
Travelin’ back
There’s no need for a time machine
Travelin’ back
Rollin’ up the consciousness stream

Upstream
To the top of the hill
A southern breeze dodges the trees
Taking away the water’s chill

Livin’ heaven’s dream

The Season of Passion

Eve takes a bite from Cupid’s apple
The passion fruit blossoms
The wind will enable
And, scatter their sum some
Until the current brings us back
To where we started from

ABOUT THIS SONG
I made a deal with my co-author (God) that I would not sell out. So, I try not to. However, when it comes to songs that talk about hate or anger, it is tough. I’d prefer not to do these songs… because love is easier. Nevertheless, here it is — what someone’s hate toward us sounds like. Then, as the song progresses, the co-author and I make a suggestion to the hate-monger

instead of them just wearing a black hat, we ask them to crawl back and fade all the way to black. That way no one has to see how ugly. Hate, go away.

[i.e. A song about a hometown near you.]

LYRICS
Yow! Spreading hate like a #%Ckin’ disease
You’ve got the mange, and you’re sporting fleas
Maggots, a leech… maybe some sort-of worm
Has eaten the heart right out of your heart
Now a shadowy, pitiful *lurking in the dark*
Creatures of slime eaten your warm
Fuzzy turned to slurm, harm, germ
[Spreading hate like a #%Ckin’ disease]

Won’t you fade to black
You’re already better than half way (there)
No… no, no, please do not delay
Crawl back
Fade to black

Fourth Base .mp3 (free music download)

Though never a big league ball player, I do enjoy playing the All-American-Past-Time from time-to-time. The one thing that does come to mind is when a youngster is on base… and a bigger fellow hits a home run. You can yell, “Run to first.” You can yell, “Run to second.” You can yell, “Run to third.” However, if you yell, “Run home” you run the risk that the lad will do just that. Thus, the name of the song *Fourth Base*

ADDITIONAL LYRICS
You Might find it funny
But, you’re already home

There ya go strutting down the street
Always in search of your comfort zone
You don’t need to beat an easy feat
You’re never alone if you’re always at home
It’s within your reach… you don’t need to roam
You may find it funny, but you’re already home

No need to reach
No need to roam
Self teach
No moan

You might find it funny, but you’re already home

ABOUT THE SONG
Daniel — vocals, guitar
The song was written and recorded in Ambler and West Chester, Pennsylvania on an 8-track digital recorder. 1 track was used for guitar. 2 tracks were used for a stereo vocal track. 3 tracks were used for individual backing vocals. 2 tracks were used to create a stereo master mix.

The inspiration for the guitar lick and the lyrics came from the vibe of the people passing by.
