LYRICS
Fluttering pink and white petals
Creates a blanket as it settles
Will the mountains and canyons shake
Will children of the sun awake?

Children of the sun
Blossoms in the wind
When the day is done
Where have you been

Now that you’re living in castles
You can’t cope with any hassles
The love child’s gone wild?
Turned to milk-toast… lame and mild

Children of the sun
Blossoms in the wind
When the day is done
Where have you been

ABOUT THE SONG
C Am D G
C Am
C G

This is a song about bands from the 60’s that sang about love and flower children. Then, they got older and richer. They turned into hypocrites living in castles. In the Led Zeppelin song “Going To California”, they sing “The mountains and the canyons started to tremble and shake… as the children of the sun began to awake.”

LYRICS
I thought I was winning the race
When I heard a voice say, “Pick up the pace!”

Are you aware
The turtle doesn’t always beat the hare
In fact, only one in a million beat him there

Time to put on the shoe and tie the lace
Keep the foot out of the mouth on my face
Time to pick up the pace

You invented the clock (tick-tock)
Now its slave, you work
The ship has left the dock
Spoon’s run away with the fork
Workin’ for the clock (tick-tock)

LYRICS
There’s some commotion
And, it’s staying in motion
Quick like Isaac
“An object in motion stays in….”
Loco-commotion (x3)

Tangled up emotion
That’s staying in motion
Quick like Isaac
“An object in motion stays in….”
Loco-commotion (x3)

Some sort-of love potion
Accelerating motion
Quick like Isaac
An outside force of course

LYRICS
Do you find it hard to believe
The air’s not fit to breath
Do you find it spoils the fun
Stayin’ out of the sun

Can you please tell me, “What do you think of that?”
Can you please tell me, “Will you tip your hat?”

Do you hope they’ll relieve
… unwilling to receive
Do you pray someone will say,
“I’m here to save the day!”

Can you please tell me, “What do you think of that?”
Can you please tell me, “Will you tip your hat?”

Do you know what I mean about the rivers and streams
Waterfowl run afoul ain’t no “merrily dreams”

Can you please tell me, “What do you think of that?”
Can you please tell me, “Will you tip your hat?”

LYRIC
The bats are in the belfry
Toys are in the attic
Completely mystify me
With an attack so sick

Makes me wonder… what’s the matter with you
Did your intellect catch the flu
Are you the fly in the ointment
And are you the plague, too?

Is your humanity bill way past due?

LYRICS
You and your voodoo
You and your voodoo do what you do
The more you change the more you’re the same
You’re going insane
You and your voodoo

Without concern
When will you learn
You don’t care about me
When do you think you’ll see
You and your voodoo
You and your voodoo
Do what you do

The more you change
The more you stay the same
The more you change
The more convinced I am
You’re going insane
You and your voodoo

The more your change
The more you rearrange
The more you change
The more insane
You’re insane
You went insane
You went off the tracks
You don’t know fiction from facts
You and your voodoo
You and your voodoo
you do what you do

The more you change
The more you rearrange
The more you change
The more insane
You and your voodoo
You and your voodoo
You do what you do

The more you change
The more you rearrange
The more you change
The more insane
You and your voodoo
You and your voodoo
You do what you do

This is the part we talk about the change
Postpartum depression
Ya I am
I learned my lesson
The more you changed
The more you rearranged
The more you changed
The more insane
You went insane
You went crazy on me
You and your voodoo
You and your voodoo
You do what you do

LYRICS
I ain’t in no need of a regiment
No fulfillment in discipline
I can walk a straight line at any time
The ability of agility… no religion

Chorus
97th Regiment
In honor of the dead
I thought we meant for a moment
Dead was something to dread?

During the war of rebellion
Son agin’ son to hell and back again
No will to be civil in war (at war)
Killin’s ill… that’s for sure

A monument to the dead
Made of stone not flesh and blood
Spilling wine and breaking bread
Bringing on the onslaught flood

LYRICS
Wonder who’s out ridin’ on the breeze
Definitely an imagination tease
Taking in the sensation please

Chorus
Cocoon cracked
Butterfly unfurled
Sprouts sprung
Kite-wind whirled

The trees all bowing to the breeze
The buds leaving into leaves
Mother Nature’s annual release

Finally thawed from the freeze
Been too long since days like these
Come to life! The moment seize!

LYRICS
Break!
Do ya wanna bend
Or would ya rather break
Are you a poser
Are you a fake
What’s the message that you send

Break!
For goodness sake,
You might slip
But need not fall
Take the trip
With all to the Ball
In the end, what’s that message that you send?

LYRICS
For hours, days, weeks and years
The fears of time moving too fast
’till a time when you wonder how long it will last

Chorus
Endure the torture
A nano-second at a time
Endure the torture
It’s gotta be a crime

Enough to bring a grown man to tears
God how long will time stand still
God have mercy — how long until….

Chorus

Are the clock’s hands even moving
The hourglass’ sands dropping
It the half-life even halfing?

LYRICS
Just keep telling yourself it’s not as hard as it seems
We can wake up and share (in) the dreams

The sun is rising high in the sky
Before the date gets too late
Open our eyes to realize

We won the prize
Open our eyes
We won the prize
Realize

Just keep telling the world what it is life really means
It’s much more than just kings and queens

Take it in a loving embrace
Leave no scars. Leave no trace.
Open our eyes to realize

We won the prize
Open our eyes
We won the prize
Realize

May humanity prosper in the human race

Chorus
I’d love to save the world
So one day our history’s told

Let love be unfurled
Spilling over ’till hatred’s rid

Watch the glacier succumb to the hits

Shaken not stirred

Shaken not stirred
The fix

Take an ice pick and start whacking it to bits
Watch the iceberg overcome by the hits
