LYRICS
Why do you gotta gallbladder?
As you climb up the evolutionary ladder
Why do you still have a gallbladder

We’re still looking for intelligent life

As you climb the evolutionary ladder
Sadder?
Gladder?
Why do you have a gallbladder?

From what I heard about a purple haze
People use to hang out and graze
Not like we were sittin’ on our asses
When we’re grazing on the grasses
’cause
chewing cud
for days
For days being dazed
We’d graze

Which brings it right back around to the center of your human being
You’ve got this gallbladder
And on your evolutionary ladder
Your race
In this space
Your outer space
This is Earth
Your birth
Your birth is a human
So as long as you can
Fess up

Which brings us around again to you and all your kin
Which I imagine must be me
As you can see
You’ve got a gallbladder
Why do you gotta gallbladder?

This ain’t about a social ladder
This is about your gallbladder

About The Song
This song was written and recorded on a cold October day. It was snowing heavily in parts of Pennsylvania. The unusual precipitation got me thinking about the how things together in a weather system.

If hydrogen and oxygen could get together with forming unique snowflakes that act together as one “weather system”, why couldn’t humans act together as one “whether system”?

It was recorded on a Roland Boss BR-600 digital recorded using a stereo track for instrumentation and two stereo tracks for vocals.

Chords: Dm / Bb / C
