Writing the song “Forge Ford Forward” at Valley Forge Park
LYRICS
Forge the ford
We’ll all move forward
Let your heart melt the steel
With the way that you feel
Forge the ford so we can walk across water
No matter. Whatever!
For the ford to what’s real
LYRICS
Fighting for your attention
For your dollar’s collection
Fighting to take, take, take
Leaving giving in the wake
A veteran of the Christmas Wars
Putting the greedy behind bars
Better yet, take no prisoners
That can’t be dedicated followers
Playing on your emotion
But, on closer inspection
Fighting to take, take, take,
Try giving “for heaven’s sake!”
A veteran of the Christmas Wars
Your medal is to shine like the stars
Enlightening the universe for ever and ever
’till such time as God’s love ends… never!
Slaying all your religion
Raping Mary, The Virgin
Ripping the heart out of Christmas
Is war strategy for defeat… demise I surmise… alas
LYRICS
When I get close to you, there’s nothing that I can do
I start to march
Rhythm overtakes my heart
If I thirst
If the moth is parch
Let the march burst
Just you watch
Love will rain down
Love will reign down
Quench my thirst
Let the heart burst
No need to rehearse
Let the heart burst
Prior to the hearse

LYRICS
1, 2, 3, 4
1, 2, 3, for what do we dance?
1, to what do we dance?
Bark it out
Don’t be afraid
Make a sound
Be found… out
Bark it out
Don’t be afraid
You are what you made
Now, make of it what you will
Shake it… better still
1, 2, 3, 4 what are we dancing for?
Dance a suspense dance (can’t wait to anticipate)
Dance a surveillance dance (see if there’s a scene gleam)
Dance an independence dance
Dance a reverence dance
Dance to thank God we’ve got a chance to dance!
1, 2, 3, for what? 1, 2, 3, 4 what do we dance for?
Dance for what
Jump about
Electrify I. Give Watt! (see your energy)

LYRICS
Now it’s time to go to sleep. Good night.
Go to sleep
Now it’s time to dream of dreams
See scenes from realms seldom seen
Sleep comes creepin’ in
The day-life ends just in time for the night’s to begin
Now it’s time to search real deep
Not it’s time to dream a scene
Of the future… what is yet to come
The Age Grandeur when we come together… become
The Age Grandeur when we come together
In the nether

Psalm 37
1 Do not fret because of those who are evil
or be envious of those who do wrong;
2 for like the grass they will soon wither,
like green plants they will soon die away.
9 For those who are evil will be destroyed,
but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land.
10 A little while, and the wicked will be no more;
though you look for them, they will not be found.
11 But the meek will inherit the land
and enjoy peace and prosperity.
12 The wicked plot against the righteous
and gnash their teeth at them;
13 but the Lord laughs at the wicked,
for he knows their day is coming.
Matthew 5
4 Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.
LYRICS
The clouds moved out of the way
’cause the mountains had something to say
“We appreciate the sunshine today”
When trouble is at bay
Conveyancing will outweigh
Why move mountains?
Why move a mountain?
Through our valley let peace roll in

LYRICS
Take some blue
Take some yellow
Don’t forget violet
Do you know what I mean?
Take some green
(or mixing yellow and blue will do)
Color a rainbow
Don’t forget violet
If you read the directions, it calls for red
Or, you can always make do by adding some blue
If you forget the violet
(Aren’t-choo glad you got orange?)
If you’re bright
Take white light
With the rhythm of a prism
Separate the aggregate
And, you know you’ll get a rainbow
= rainbow
Like God make a promise such as this
No harm to humans I wish
Writing Throwing A Hissy Fit Song in West Chester, PA
LYRICS
If throwing a hissy fit could get you into heaven
Then, I’d quit
Too bad a temper tantrum doesn’t get you in
It’s a sin what you’ve been
[Forgive and forget?]
Before we forget, you’d better check if God will forgive
Takin’ your regret to the grave is a grave mistake
If you’re thinking God will give you a break…
Everybody ‘ll be dancing on your grave at your wake
If lying, cheating, stealing… could get you into heaven
You’d probably win
But, then again…
I wouldn’t bet your life on it
Nor throwing a hissy fit
You might as well quit
LYRICS
Dog gone it. Dag nab it.
Confounded stranger can’t read “DANGER!”
“BEWARE OF DOG” less you meet your God
Beware of God less you’re dog meat
He’s a big dog… you’re more the size of a dog treat
If you come knockin’ better be answerin’ to “Who is it?”
Hark,
That dog’s bit is worse than his bark
And, that dog’s bark is fierce
Listen as the shock of sound waves pierce
LYRICS
In these days, we’re all chasing rays (we’re all chasing rays)
In the fray of the day, we’re chasing rays
Searching high and low
Where did the day light go
There should have daylight savings
But, we kept shaving and shaving and shaving
Until there was barely splintered sunlight left
It’s not alright when there’s nothing left
It there’s a shadow in the way
There’s a way to flesh out a ray
What do you say
Let’s step out into the light
Alight? Alright!
In these days, we’re all chasing rays (we’re all chasing rays)
In the fray of the day, we’re chasing rays
ABOUT THE SONG

Written and recorded on November 9, 2012 in Chester County, PA. It was the first sunny day and warm enough to play guitar outside in a long time. It was also the first nice day since the start of daylight savings. So… I wanted to catch the last rays as the sun started to set. Lack of sunlight tends do cause depression; therefore, I suggest you try catching rays.
