Pant.mp3

LYRICS
By any chance
Are there ants in your pants
The way you move n’ shake
I hadda do a double take

Cha cha cha and la la la

From what I see
You’ve got the heebie jeebie
The way you shake n’ jerk
Could be a seditious quirk

Well, where’s freewill
I just can’t sit still
Overcome by the beat
Leap from my seat onto my feet

Pant chant
Chant pant

Absoulte Zero.mp3

LYRICS
Have you figured out yet
How cold does ice get?
I don’t know
But, pretty close to absolute zero

As the temperature drops
Water turns hard as rocks
Burrrrrrr

Octoberrrrr, Novemberrrr, Decemberrrr, Winterrrrrr

More than twice
Turning beer to ice
Who’d of thunk
Alcohol is skunk

From slipping and sliding
There is no hiding
Better hope a bone chill
Will give you a thrill

−459 degrees
Make ya sneeze
Make ya freeze

ABOUT THIS SONG
This winter had been unusually cold. It made me start wondering how cold ice can get? A: The temperature of ice can approach absolute zero.

Absolute zero is the lowest temperature possible. More formally, it is the temperature at which entropy reaches its minimum value, 0. The laws of thermodynamics state that absolute zero cannot be reached using only thermodynamic means, as the temperature of the substance being cooled approaches the temperature of the cooling agent asymptotically. A system at absolute zero still possesses quantum mechanical zero-point energy, the energy of its ground state. The kinetic energy of the ground state cannot be removed.

The zero point of any thermodynamic temperature scale, such as Kelvin or Rankine scale, is set at absolute zero. By international agreement, absolute zero is defined as 0K on the Kelvin scale and as −273.15° on the Celsius scale. This equates to −459.67° on the Fahrenheit scale and 0 R on the Rankine scale.

Far away

I thought I’d never see the day
When things would go… go my way
Now the world’s… the world’s my pearl
Not gonna be a bug on the grill

Chorus

And, I live by myself for a while
Finally, my face wear’s a great big smile
I’ve come to find that no girl
Will make me squirm or squirrel

LYRICS
When the sky turns shades of gray
From slate to goose
It’s time to say,
“Let mental nimbleness on the loose!”

Chorus
When there’s such a fine line
Between right and wrong
It’s time to find
A heartfelt love song

When the sky turns shades of gray
From goose to slate
It’s time to play
Role of the intelligent primate

LYRICS

Where did the love go?

Though all the promises
Rings and roses
Where did the love go?
With all the missed kisses
We’re building bridges
Where did the love go?

Throughout all of time
Goodness shall outshine
Instead of me and mine
We’re in the hour of our
In the era of our
Era of our hour
Our era hour

Where did the love go? (Right here!)

Though all the promises
Rings and roses
Where did the love go? (It’s right here!)
With all the missed kisses
We’re building bridges
Where did the love go? (It’s right here!)

Where did the love go?
Right here.

LYRICS
Do you remember?

Climbing on my shoulders
Riding on my back
Kissing by the boulders
Sitting on my lap

Hiking on the hill
We made a bet for fun
But, before you could fulfill
Your life’s undone

Looking down from heaven
Do you remember?
Do you remember… living in days like these

With God’s grace given
I do remember.
I do remember… the memories please

Hiking on the hill
We made a bet for fun
But, before you could fulfill
Your life’s undone

Here we are holding hands
Who would ever understand?
That you could fulfill
That someday you will fulfill
That this day you can still fulfill

ABOUT THE SONG
Chords — G Em
G Am D G

Written in Chester County, Pennsylvania and captured as a digital, stereo, extemporaneous recording. Demo MP3 is 1 track. Video is 6-tracks.

This song was inspired by one of my first girlfriends, Janet Welch of Clearfield, Pennsylvania. I sat down to write a song about Valentine’s Day and just started playing about love. This is what came out.

We were in high school… passing notes and falling in love. We made what I considered a great bet. She lost the bet; however, before she could fulfill her end of the bargain, she died in a car crash. Does a spirit live on?

Aren’t we standing just a little too far

Getting Closer
Negate
Separate
Gaining closure

Here I can
You can, too
Shouldn’t we do all we can do?
Negate
Separate
Getting closer
Abate
Desperate
Heart tender

Tender-hearted
Let’s get started

LYRICS
Living each day
In the fullest way
Trying to make reason
As I rhyme

After pain and suffering
Comes the joy of relief
There’ a new season
A new time

The insane rebuffing
Proves my belief
There’ a new season
A new time

Friends may come
And, friends may go
But there’s one thing that I know
You’ll be there ’till the end
Then, backstage after the show

Friends may come
And, friends may go
But there’s one thing that I know
Love is the message that we send
Be ye friend or be ye foe?

LYRICS
Fighting for your attention
For your dollar’s collection
Fighting to take, take, take
Leaving giving in the wake

A veteran of the Christmas Wars
Putting the greedy behind bars
Better yet, take no prisoners
That can’t be dedicated followers

Playing on your emotion
But, on closer inspection
Fighting to take, take, take,
Try giving “for heaven’s sake!”

A veteran of the Christmas Wars
Your medal is to shine like the stars
Enlightening the universe for ever and ever
’till such time as God’s love ends… never!

Slaying all your religion
Raping Mary, The Virgin
Ripping the heart out of Christmas
Is war strategy for defeat… demise I surmise… alas

Quench my thirst
