bookmark_borderHero Style

LYRICS
Do you crave a way
To save the day
Every once in a while
In a brave foray
Rescue Mayday
Dogs in a pile
Every once in a while
People hope and pray
You’ll find a way
Hero style
Dogs in a pile
Every once in a while

The White Knight
Delivers the light
The damn souls in distress
Confess
Indeed
They’re in need
Stop the bleed
Calling on you
To pull through
Every once in a while
Hero style

A song about finding the hero in you to save Man from Man and reverse climate change.

bookmark_borderThe Secret

The song of the day *The Secret* is written for the youngest Brouse’s 1st birthday. From the first day she could crawl, she would climb up my leg and dance as soon as the guitar started playing. Now, she pounds on my guitar case until I start playing. The best audience ever. Happy Birthday, Baby!

So, this is what she taught me over the last year:

LYRICS
The secret’s in the inspiration
If you keep on playing
You’ll never grow old
Come along to a sing-a-long
Won’t be long till you’re lost in song
And found your way
(What a day!)

The spirit is the inspiration
Let’s keep on playing
It never grows old
Come along to a sing-a-long
Won’t be long till you’re lost in song
And found your way
(What a day!)

We strive and thrive on inspiration
Saying and playing
“Let’s never grow old!”
Come along to a sing-a-long
Won’t be long till you’re lost in song
And found your way
(What a day!)

Chords: C C9 C7 C / G D / Am C D; Part II @ 100 BPM

bookmark_borderQuality Air

LYRICS
Don’t you want a little bit of…
Quality air
The problem is I’m unaware of…
Any there
Any anywhere
That I’m aware
Cupboard’s bare
It’s time we pay attention
To our unintended consequences
Burning bridges and building fences
At last a grasp of comprehension
Stand for understand
Understand?

2. Wildfires to the West
Wildfires to the East
Breathability at its least
Deniability at its best
[chorus]

3. Ozone prone zone
Packed with particulates
Kiss at your own risk
Hold your breath till death
[chorus]

A song about climate change and pollution. In May of 2023, wildfires across Canada were impacting the air quality in the Northeastern USA. High particulate matter caused unhealthy air quality. Then on June 1, 2023, ozone pollution made the air unhealthy to breath. Air pollution is a leading cause of death worldwide. The solution to both the particulate and ozone problems leads to same conclusion — stop human induced climate change.

Asked one time
Asked tow times
Is this a put-on?
Asked once more
Just to make sure
Is this a put-on?

Come on Man
We can do better
Come on Man
Be the go getter
Get it on

Back again
For repeatin’
Is this a put-on?
The heat we store
Just how much more?
Is this a put-on?

Come on Man
We can do better
Come on Man
Be the go getter
Get it on

Still can’t believe
Forget conceive
Is this a put-on?
Burn fossil fuels
Till fossil fools
Is this a put-on?

Come on Man
We can do better
Come on Man
Be the go getter
Get it on

LYRICS
The glacier confessed
To complete defeat
Warming to retreat
The messed up
Is going down
Time to take a look around

The ocean on an acid trip
While the ‘bergs continue to drip, drip, drip
You guessed it…
The messed up
Is going down
Time to take a look around

The energy, though hard to see
Comes to be
With intensity
Know what it means
At the extremes
As is meant
In weather event
Not whether event
Certainly with energy, though hard to see
It’s all around me
So you see
It’s time we
Fessed-up
The messed up
Is going down
Time to take a look around

LYRICS
Give it my all
Give it the most
Living in full
Before I’m ghost
Can see flesh can’t stand on it’s own
Man blessed with blood and bone
Can’t stand alone
The good thing about heartstrings
Is their attachment
To the soul
Angels sing
While cupid swings
With love achievement
The goal

Through time may test
Give it my best
Sow flow and zest
Pre-laid-to-rest
Can see flesh can’t stand on it’s own
Man blessed with blood and bone
Can’t stand alone
The good thing about heartstrings
Is their attachment
To the soul
Angels sing
While cupid swings
With love achievement
The goal

Give it my all
Give it the most
Living in full

bookmark_borderBe the Light

LYRICS
Along the way
Start to sway
Is it O.K.
If there’s not enough hours
In the day
(Keep at bay too many ours
In search of hours)
Could time slow down
While I look around
And some’s/sums found?
(Get my feet back on the ground)

Father Time,
I’m… going to out last ya
By moving faster and faster
Approaching the speed of light
I just might
See the light
Be the light

I’m finally starting to see
Some/sum velocity in me
(Find irony in relativity)
Ya know the faster I go
The younger I stay
Along the way
(Ummm… continuum
4-D reality)

Father Time,
I’m… going to out last ya
By moving faster and faster
Approaching the speed of light
I just might
See the light
Be the light

LYRICS
There’s a tree on the hole
The hole in the pipe
The pipe not is not whole
And the tool won’t fit right
(Not quite right)
You should have seen the trouble I’ve seen
Do you have any idea what I mean?
You should have seen the trouble I’ve seen

The valve master
Is a disaster
Don’t know
Where the flow
Will go
There’s a tree on the hole
The hole in the pipe
The pipe not is not whole
And the tool won’t fit right
(Not quite right)
You should have seen the trouble I’ve seen
Do you have any idea what I mean?
You should have seen the trouble I’ve seen

Just when you thought it couldn’t get worse
Started with a sudden burst
Disruption in the quest to quench thirst
The valve master
Is a disaster
Don’t know
Where the flow
Will go
There’s a tree on the hole
The hole in the pipe
The pipe not is not whole
And the tool won’t fit right
(Not quite right)
You should have seen the trouble I’ve seen
Do you have any idea what I mean?
You should have seen the trouble I’ve seen

So I saw a saw
Cut the tree… you see
A sledge and wedge
Supplementary
Just when you thought it couldn’t get worse
Started with a sudden burst
Disruption in the quest to quench thirst
The valve master
Is a disaster
Don’t know
Where the flow
Will go
There’s a tree on the hole
The hole in the pipe
The pipe not is not whole
And the tool won’t fit right
(Not quite right)
You should have seen the trouble I’ve seen
Do you have any idea what I mean?
You should have seen the trouble I’ve seen

bookmark_borderFalling Domin-Knows

LYRICS
Have you seen the cascade we’ve made
All the pretty maids made their rows
The man-made cascades
“Follow the falling dominoes”
You’ll know
You’ll all know
Donin-knows
Oh, dominoes
Oh, dominoes

Our faux-tip-toe
Turned friend to foe
Now watch us go
From to to fro
“Follow the falling dominoes”
You’ll know
You’ll all know
Donin-knows
Oh, dominoes
Oh, dominoes

Comes undone
With the very first one
The first to fall…
And then them all
“Follow the falling dominoes”
You’ll know
You’ll all know
Donin-knows
Oh, dominoes
Oh, dominoes

LYRICS
Are we tough enough
How about you?
Are we tough enough
To see us through?
Could be the strain
In your veins
Affecting your brain
Insane

Are we tough enough
How about you?
Are we tough enough
To see us through?
Hard to make gain
Missed the last train
Crying like rain
Get sane

Are we tough enough
How about you?
Are we tough enough
To see us through?
Might be time
Get out of grime
The grime and crime
This time

LYRICS
Forget your toss and tumble
Excuses that you mumble
Better wake-up quick
Conditions are slick
And we’re sliding
Into the abyss
(In the abyss
Slipperiness)

Got to get out
And look about
No doubt
Got to dig in
Start the begin
Again
Better wake-up quick
Conditions are slick
And we’re sliding
Into the abyss
(In the abyss
Slipperiness)

Get up to see
What is to be
Of thee
Get down today
What do you say
Can we?
Better wake-up quick
Conditions are slick
And we’re sliding
Into the abyss

Slipperiness)

LYRICS
Have you been to the human circus
It’s gone over the top
… the human circus
Gone over the big-top
(Formerly under the big-top)
Even the ringmaster
Is calling for disaster
Coming much faster
Then “who would have ever thought?”

A 3-ring attraction
Slight-of-hand distraction
Even the ringmaster
Is calling for disaster
Coming much faster
Then “who would have ever thought?”
Time to reap what we’ve wrought

A clown-car collision
Man-made decision
Even the ringmaster
Is calling for disaster
Coming much faster
Then “who would have ever thought?”
It’s the ticket we’ve bought

LYRICS
Feel I’ve been here before
But not quite like this
It’s this part right here
I must have missed
Better stand clear
Here comes more
Like before
At least near?

Feeling deja vu
How about you?
Deja vu
With something new
Better stand clear
Here comes more
Like before
At least near?

Familiar scene
Know what I mean?
What did you glean
From your dream?
Better stand clear
Here comes more
Like before
At least near?

LYRICS
Being here
Trying to hear
Both the far
And the near
Just to be clear
The hear is here
Traveling through the atmosphere
Bringing you to the ear
The answer to why “I am I”
Want to come along
Go ahead, jump on
If you want to fit in
To the thread
Jump in
Begin
Start singing
Know to know
Hear I go
Hear I flow
So n’ so
Sow n’ reap
The leap
