Flow
(Go)

Build
(Then break)
Move
(Then wake)

[Chorus]
A sudden surge
(Here it comes)
A sudden rush
(Beating drums)

Flow of flush
(Through the way)
Push it forward
(Find the day)

A sudden surge
(Feel the force)
Changing course
(Changing source)

[Verse 2]
No, don’t need a warning
When the river starts transforming
A channel fills, the banks give way
And yesterday becomes today

[Instrumental]
[Electric Guitar Solo: Rising Lead Guitar, Distorted Bass, Rapid Drums, Glitching Synth Pulses]

[Bridge]
Splurge!
(A sudden surge!)

Rush!
(Flow of flush!)

Drop…

Drip…

Drop…

Then—

Surge!
(Purge)

[Final Refrain]
Splurge
(A sudden surge)
Rush
(Flow of flush)

[Final Chorus]
A sudden surge
(A sudden rush)

No time left
(To disprove)

[Intro]
[Instrumental Intro: Pulsing Bass, Driving Drums, Rising Synth, Distorted Guitar Swells]
[Spoken Vocal]
It starts with warming…

Then something changes.
(With no warning… rearranges)

A feedback wakes up.

Another one follows.
(Fate swallows)

They begin to interact…
(In fact…)
… the dominoes start to fall.
(One and all)

[Refrain]
Acceleration
(Moving faster)
Amplification
(Bound for disaster)

[Verse 1]
Warming sets the system turning
Feedback fires, the planet’s learning
One small change can start a chain
Then another joins the game

[Chorus]
Acceleration
(Moving faster)
Amplification
(Bound for disaster)

One domino
(Then another)
One feedback
(Feeds another)

Faster change
(More extreme)
Nothing happens
(As it seemed)

[Refrain]
Acceleration
(Moving faster)
Amplification
(Bound for disaster)

[Verse 2]
Feedback coupling changes things
When one response affects the wings
Of another process in the chain
Reinforcing loss and gain

[Instrumental]
[Electric Guitar Solo: Aggressive Lead Guitar, Pulsing Bass, Driving Drums, Hammond Organ, Rising Synth]
[Bridge]
Warming!
(Starts the chain!)

Feedback!
(Feeds the flame!)

Coupling!
(Links the strain!)

Acceleration!
(Changes pace!)

Manifestation!
(All over the place!)

[Breakdown]
[Drums Drop Out: Deep Bass Pulse, Atmospheric Synth, Distant Guitar]
Oh, domino…
(There you go)

One falls…
(The future calls)

[Spoken Vocal]
We cannot control the rules
(Silly, silly fools)
The solution…
(… control our pollution…)

[Refrain]
Acceleration
(Moving faster)
Amplification
(Bound for disaster)

[Final Refrain]
Acceleration
(Moving faster)
Amplification
(Bound for disaster)

[Outro]
[Instrumental Outro: Driving Bass, Guitar Feedback, Rising Synth, Heavy Drums]

About the Song
The new release of the day, “Acceleration,” comes from the album Rush. It’s a retro-futuristic garage-rock track infused with elements of dubstep, before transitioning into experimental electronic glitch.

The song explores climate acceleration—the way warming, feedback activation, feedback coupling, and amplification can push the climate system into increasingly rapid change. The progression is much like water cascading over a waterfall: once the flow accelerates, each successive drop carries the system faster toward the next.

“Acceleration” features an Ibanez electric/acoustic guitar alongside a mix of analog and synthesizer keyboards, blending organic instrumentation with increasingly chaotic electronic textures.

Feedback Coupling → Amplification → Tipping-Point Threshold → Domino Effect

The Domino Effect

Warming → Feedback Activation → Feedback Coupling → Acceleration → Tipping-Point Threshold → Cascade

The climate system is not simply warming—it is changing how it responds to that warming. Coupled climate feedbacks are becoming one of the most consequential dimensions of climate risk in the 21st century because they amplify changes and connect individual tipping-point pathways into larger cascading effects.

The longer warming persists, the more climate feedbacks become active. As these feedbacks interact, we are already observing nonlinear responses, amplification, and cascading impacts across the climate system. Hundreds of feedback mechanisms have been identified, and many can couple and reinforce one another, contributing to the accelerating pace and increasing magnitude of climate change—The Domino Effect.

Bottom line: The question is no longer how warm the planet becomes, but how life on Earth can endure when change outpaces our ability to adapt.

We cannot control the laws of physics, but we can control our pollution. The most effective action is to stop burning fossil fuels.

[Intro]

[Spoken Vocal]
You want proof?

Don’t ask for a forecast…
(That time passed to past)
Look around.
(Found!)

[Refrain]
You want proof
(Raise the roof)
Just look outside
(Chaos resides)

There’s nowhere to hide
(Raise the roof)

[Verse 1]
Look at the sky, watch it change
Storm clouds gathering on the range
Wind starts howling down the street
Rain comes pounding with the beat

[Pre-Chorus]
Look outside
(See the signs)
Read the sky
(Read the lines)

[Chorus]
Raise the roof
(Shake the ground)
Raise the roof
(Feel the sound)

You want proof
(There’s your view)
What’s outside
(Is coming through)

[Refrain]
You want proof
(Raise the roof)
Just look outside
(Chaos resides)

There’s nowhere to hide
(Raise the roof)

Chaos resides
(Outside)
And the signs
(Can’t be denied)

[Instrumental, Saxophone Solo]
[Heavy Electric Guitar Solo: Blues-Rock Bends, Driving Bass, Thunderous Drums, Hammond Organ]

[Bridge]
You want proof?
(Look outside!)

Want some more?
(Out your backdoor!)

[Breakdown]
[Drums Drop Out: Bass Pulse, Distant Guitar, Atmospheric Synth]
Raise…

The…

Roof…
(Poof! Proof)

Listen…

Thunder in the distance…

Wind against the windows…

Rain against the ground…

The evidence…

Has a sound.

[Final Refrain]
You want proof
(Raise the roof)
Just look outside
(Chaos resides)

There’s nowhere to hide
(Raise the roof)

[Final Chorus]
Raise the roof
(Shake the ground)
Raise the roof
(Feel the sound)

You want proof
(Just look around)
There’s evidence
(In every sound)

Heat and rain
(Wind and fire)
Rising pressure
(Climbing higher)

Raise the roof
(Let it ring)
Look outside
(See the thing)

[Outro]
[Instrumental Outro: Heavy Guitar Riff, Hammond Organ, Bass, Drums, Distant Thunder FX]
