LYRICS
I got the wanna do
The wanna do
Got the wanna do right blues

If I see injustice
I just can’t pass
Got to do something… something fast
‘for I get the wanna do blues

Chorus

Less the wanna do blues
Turns to don’t want dues blues
Less the wanna do blues
Yields don’t wanna due blues

LYRICS
Relevant

Relevant
As an elephant
In a China shop
Now, drop

It’s time to be big
Big… bigger than this
Bigger than this
A luscious kiss
Able to transcend
Again and again

Time to get relevant
Like an elephant in a China shop
Now, drop

Relevant

Like an elephant in a China shop
Now, drop
Irreverent in a reverent way
Instead of gone astray
We can band together
As a band
Not, necessarily hand-in-hand
(Staying unique)

Coming relevant
Like an elephant
In a China shop
Now, drop!

LYRICS
You’re a monster

You’re a monster
In everything you do
You do, you do
In everything you will
You will, you will
You can’t help
You’re a monster

You’re larger than life
You can play the bass
Like a monster
You can sing
Like nothing
Or, everything
Certainly something
Why did you say nothing?
Like nothing else compares

You’re a monster

ABOUT THE SONG
Chords — G Gm F G A Am

Written in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Digital, 1-track stereo, extemporaneous recording. This song was inspired by friend Rick Reinhart calling me a monster (in a good way.) It made me think of my analogy the “Friendly Dragon”.  A friendly dragon walked into the main street street of a village. The people on the left side of the street saw him and started screaming in terror. When the dragon turned to comfort the paniced people, his tail swung around and destroyed the right side of the village. Moral: be careful with your power even if your intentions are good.

LYRICS
Let me tell ya a story
About a little blues
It’s not so much a deep purple
Just a lil’ blues

A little blues
Just add a little green
It doesn’t always have to be on the other side of the fence
Hence…
A little blues

LYRICS
Umh? Yeah! Umh? Yeah!
It’s a celebration
A commemoration
Of comradaration
Ugh huh!

Philly Folk Fest
Destination
Like no other
Memories etched
Not just the jest
It’s the love that5’s best
A community
Camaraderie
Pleasantry

The only way to recognize our uniform
It’s torn
From the battles
We’ve won

Comradaration
Celebration
Fascination
With elevation
Of imagination
A new suggestion
Comradaration

Sensation
Elevation
Beautification
Spiritualization

LYRICS
Do you want to bet your life
Guess you already did
Before it was said
You’re not immortal
You’re dead

When you pass by
Will you wave
Say hi?

Or, will you choose to lose
Doubt you’ll float
With that kind of dream

Senior week
Senior weak
Bring on the meek

The Day
The First. The Last.
The day the last is past

I’d say
It’s not that far away
Long as
I don’t go astray
… not that far away

On our way
Supper’s Ready
Blessed day
Hold n’ steady

It’s not that far away

It’s not that far away
Long as
I don’t go astray
… not that far away
