LYRICS
If the world is moving to fast
I suggest
You go faster

Run from disaster

If you want your life to last
Noooo, don’t go slow
Hasten the pace
Join the human race
Go faster
Headmaster

If you don’t go
How will you ever know?

LYRICS
All that blah blah jive
More drama than a beehive
Relax
Mind your own bee’s wax
Beeswax

Mam, facts are facts
Just relax
It’s the thesis
Of putting your nose in other people’s feces
Relax
Mind your own bee’s wax

After all, what’s the point….
You’ll get your nose all out of joint

LYRICS
Do you wonder if it’s coming true
Why’s it coming into view
Do you wonder if it’s coming true
Do you?

If you hate being right
No sense blaming insight
You did what you could to shed light

Do you ponder inevitability
Why it’s coming into view
Do you ponder why you see what you see
Do you?

LYRICS
This thing called living
What’s the price of life
Sold for an earthling

Imagine a combustion engine
Foreboding our exploding
Exhaustion
Of civilization

Go, daddy-o, go

The drone’s not alone
Drop the bomb
And the tomb
Will rest your bone

Sold…
For an earthling
I’ve been told
Before I grow old
To love living

Thank you
I do

Don’t know if the words will come
Don’t know if the chords will come
Take a little magic
Pray it won’t be static
Words and chords, Oh, Lord

Where do the words come from
Where will the chords come from
With some help from above
To the rhythm of love
Words and chords, Oh, Lord

Thank God the words come
Thank God the chords come
She took a little magic
And, it wasn’t static
Words and chords, Oh, Lord

I’m Not Like Anybody Else.mp3

Coversong originally made famous by The Kinks

Verse:
G D
I won't take all that they hand me down,

    Am Em
And make out a smile, so I'll wear a frown,

    G D
And I'm not gonna take it all lying down,

    Am Em
'Cause once I get started I go to town.

Chorus:
Em D
'Cause I'm not like everybody else,

Am Em
I'm not like everybody else,

(Em) D
I'm not like everybody else,

Am Em
I'm not like everybody else.

(Em) D Am
And I don't want to walk about like everybody else,

Em D Am
And I don't want to live my life like everybody else,

Em D Am
And I won't say that I'm confined like everybody else,

(Am) Em
'Cause I'm not like everybody else,

Am Em
I'm not like everybody else.

I’m living a dream
One with a light beam

When sleeping I’m dreaming

When awake I don’t forsake

When you realize your dream
Believe in what you can do
And, you will, too

Make Love, Not War.mp3

LYRICS
What do you say
We lay
Down our arms
And make love
Turn off the killing alarms
Be free of
Turn on getting turned on
Spawn
A lush crush

For sure
Make love, not war
Love more, more, more
Make love, not war

Hate hate negate
More love more more
Lay your love spoor
Make love not war

ABOUT THIS SONG
Make love, not war is an anti-war slogan commonly associated with the American counterculture of the 1960s. It was used primarily by those who were opposed to the Vietnam War, but has been invoked in other anti-war contexts since. The “make love” part of the slogan often referred to the practice of free love that was growing among the American youth who denounced marriage as a tool for those who supported war and favored the traditional capitalist culture.

The phrase’s origins are unclear; some credit Louis Abolafia. Radical activists Penelope and Franklin Rosemont helped to popularize the phrase by printing thousands of “Make Love, Not War” buttons at the Solidarity Bookshop in Chicago, Illinois and distributing them at the Mother’s Day Peace March in 1965. They were the first to print the slogan.

In April 1965, at a Vietnam demonstration in Eugene, Oregon, Diane Newell Meyer, then a senior at the University of Oregon, pinned a handwritten note on her sweater reading “Let’s make love, not war”, thus marking the beginning of the popularity of this phrase. A picture of Meyer wearing the slogan was printed in the Eugene Register-Guard and then a related article turned up in the New York Times on May 9, 1965. When the slogan was used in California in 1967, then Governor Ronald Reagan joked to protesters “Those guys [the protesters] look like they can’t make either of both”.

By shoveling cement
My ribs taking a ribbing
Funny bone ain’t laughing

Forsaking
The lazy mode

On the unchained gang road
Lifting a heavy load
On the unchained gang road
Unlocking spiritual code

Take it as another kick to the keister
