We are constantly looking for a new sound… a genre of music that has not been discovered. It seemed fitting to use one of these experiments for the ComFuture.com Theme Song.

A-Ok? Part 2 .MP3
Are you A-Ok? Ok?
Can you find your way
Cause I can’t hear
A word your say.
Are you A-Ok?
The gap between us
Is growing ever wider
And, I wish
I could be standing there
Beside her
I wish I could answer your prayers
Help you down the stairs
When people give you that stare
And, you become aware
That you’ve become uncomfortable
And, try to make you disable
I’m calling out to you
Are you A-Ok?
Are you A-Ok? Ok?
Cause I can’t hear
A word you say
The communications
Are in breakdown
Breakdown
Are you A-Ok?

Tick Tock Tick Tock
If you are feeling down
And, your smile turned to frown
Well, look around
At what can be found
What can you do?
It’s really nothing new
Just raise your voice on high
Shout to the sky
Say a prayer out loud
Above the crowd
Maybe you’ll receive mercy
Mercy, mercy, mercy
I try my best
Not to have you pity me
If you are feeling down
And, your smile turned to frown

What would you say
If I was thinking
We could be sinking
Just take a look around
And, see what you see
And, can it
Really be?
Disrespect the rock
Disrespect the land
Disrespect the tree
Can’t you see?
We can’t go on and on and on
To infinity
Can’t you see
Can’t we see
Don’t we see
Cause I
Ya, know I
I could be thinking
That we’re sinking
I could be thinking
That we are sinking

You’ll always need
Unless you concede
To succeed
Never bleed
If you could only read the signs
Because they’re everywhere
If we were aware
To pay a little bit of attention
To what’s around
The answer’ld be found
What we want
You’ll always need
Unless we concede
To succeed
A flood of blood
We’ll bleed
Unless we have faith
In heaven above
Unless we have faith

lyrics
Whatcha gonna say
When the angels come to take you away
Will you fall to your knees and pray
When the angels come to take you away?
Will you wish it were another day
When the angels come to take you away?
Will you wish it were another day
When the angels come to take you away?
Will you fall to your knees and pray?
Whatcha gonna say
When the angels come to take you away
Whatcha gonna say
When the angels come to take you away
On your judgment day
Will you wish this day would fade away
Oh, well
It’s hot way down way down way down
If I fell
Would you pick me up
If I cry
Would you dry my eye
Will you offer me solace
Or, will you run and hide?
Whatcha gonna say
When the angels come to take you away
To your judgment day
When you get to the pearly gate
Will you pause
Will you hesitate
When they ask you
“What is your fate?”
Oh, well
Oh, well
I hear it’s hot in hell
Hear the bell?
For whom does the bell toll
Whom does the bell toll for
In the end
It’s not a sound you can ignore
Did you live your life
Good and full
For whom does the bell toll?
What will you say
When you meet your maker
Are you a giver
Or taker?

lyrics
Are we getting the fun out, yet?
We don’t want it to be our dying regret
It’s something we forget
Are we getting the fun out, yet?
Look what you chose
What will you choose
Wanna win or wanna loose?
Are we getting the fun out, yet?
God knows
Misery blows
’cause God knows
Misery blows

lyrics
You shouldn’t have done it at all
I sure hate watchin’ ya fall
Shouldn’t have dont it
Shouldn’t have done it
Done it, done it, no….
Shouldn’t have done it at all
You feed on the dastardly deed
Shouldn’t have done it at all
I sure hate watchin’ ya fall
Though I hear your call
I fear you’re null
Though, I hear your call
And, there’s no quell
I fear you’re null
About The Song
This song was written and recorded on-the-fly with an M-Audio portable digital recorder.
The subject matter is about a person who creates a vortex… a spiraling downward… due to hate and destruction. In the end, they destroy their own empire, not their enemies.

About The Soundtracks
These recordings were made in Atlantic City, Ocean City and Wildwood using a Roland Boss Br-600. The two hardest parts of engineering the recordings were:
1) wind protection. The recordings of the ocean were difficult to shield the microphones from wind noise. There was a constant breeze at each location. Several attempts had to be trashed. Eventually, I figured out that I had to leave the recorder in its case in order to protect the on-board condenser mic’s.
2) moving. The recordings on the boardwalk were made while I walked. Holding the recorder, moving and trying to keep up with tram-car were all challenges.
The most nerve racking was making the recording in the casino… as I’m not sure whether you are allowed to record in a casino?

She made the children moan
She should be
Run outta town on a rail
She should be
Hung by a cross
Pound in the nail
She should be
Banished from this place
Outcast from our race
She is satin in the flesh
She is waitin’ to destroy
Cherly, I don’t jest
She put a woopin’ on my boy
A family wrecker that’s for sure
It’s something she’ll enjoy
Wreaking havoc
On the family’s future
No, no clan can endure
She’s sick

Do you know
You’re that mean?

How did we wind up here?
How did we wind up
Wind up here
Why didn’t anyone steer?
Well, how did we wind up
Wind up
That’s not exactly clear
It’s what we did fear
Now, oh dear
We can’t see clear
We can’t see the light
It’s dark
The darkest night
Is there something bright
How did we wind up here
Exactly what we did fear
With these junkyard dogs
All fat hogs

I Know A Song (That Gets On Everbody’s Nerves) MP3
About The Sound
These recordings were made using a Roland Boss BR-600 on a deck overlooking a lake while kids created works of art. One girl started singing “I Know A Song” but was too shy to record it, so we tried to recreate it.
