Accepting the award, Grohl said, “To me, this award means a lot because it shows the human element of music is what’s important. Singing into a microphone and learning to play an instrument and learning to do your craft, that’s the most important thing for people to do…It’s not about being perfect, it’s not about sounding absolutely correct, it’s not about what goes on in a computer. It’s about what goes on in here [your heart] and what goes on in here [your head].”

Later, Dave went on to say, “To me the biggest advantage of going analog is the restrictions that it implies, which gets you to perform in a way that you’re actually being a human being. About The Song
This was the first “song” recorded on the Roland Boss Br-600. It uses the onboard drum machine with a stereo vocal track. The reason it is so short? Because I wanted to make sure the recorder was working… or at least, that I knew how to save the song.

It is a demo version. The vocals are meant to have an effect added, as well as, the addition of more tracks, electric guitar, syths, etc.

The album Technical Techno got it’s name from this track. Some people might argue that it isn’t Technically Techno. On the other hand, you get to hear the technical aspects of how techno is created?
